Do we have the best backline in the game?

Hoeter to me is a long way from the level of Nofo. I was surprised with how good Hoeter was but he isn't Nofo.

100% Nofa is a beast. I think this should be Pattys last season unfortunately. Delouise, Simona, Nofa & Naiqama must be there when fit and Patty isn't getting any younger, we do not want a repeat of a player playing past his prime.

Tough call really but a good selection headache for JT. I think when Nofo is 100% he comes back on the wing & Kev takes Hoeter's centre spot. It's a good position to be in as we now don't have to rush Nofo back.

Also if King Richards continues his form I'd be more than happy for us to re-sign him. He is a consistent finisher & his kicking game gives us another x-factor that no other team has. Either way I hope he is passing on his secrets to the boys.

to confirm.

this forums memory is as long as our last game.

saw calls in the last week for the halves to be axed, sironen dropped, taylor dropped, keefy dropped and a couple people got a 2nd mortgage to place some money on us taking out the spoon.

This thread is a good example of how people can get carried away with a win.

I thought the same thing about the threads last week.
People make wild claims when dealing with these so called 'emotions'

Delouise and Naiqama.

Richards and Simona.

Tedesco.

I may be getting abit ahead of myself but i really think we have one of the best, if not the best backline in the comp. Where does Nofa come back in?

Last week you were [automatically edited] like a big girl Milky. You've got nothing.

What did i see last week other than about what Taylor said you imbecile.

No offense Shane2801.Im just impressed that a young man is still using good ol fashioned words like imbecile.Long live the imbecile  .Also make sure u throw a fair dinkum or two in there aswell ok pal.In milky we trust.

Milky was one of the few that stayed positive last week !! Started a thread backing brooks and co. No backflip. Go tigers !!

Defo one of the most exciting backlines in the game.

And to think we've still got guys like Seve & Heleta in the ranks.
I think we've got a premiership coming our way in the next 3 years or so.

Nofa has to be in there with Naiqama in the centres at this stage, when he is fit of course. People are quickly forgetting how good of a finisher Nofa is and the metres he get a coming from our line.

I'm sorry I can' t keep up with the wild swings in comments.

Does anyone think what they are writing or is it all just raw emotion.

As some one said "wooden spooners" to top four team in one week; half the team was dropped last week, most are champions this week. "Is this the best backline in the comp?" - Get a little bit serious. Love the team, love the players but best backline!

Maybe in the future - no where near it at the moment. Lets just settle on a backline to start with, then give them time to gel and we may have a better indication next year.

Why would you get rid of Richards? (apart from being a liability someone once said).
Age has nothing to do with it - it is form that should be the only consideration. He is going really well as a player; goal kicking and kick offs etc. are a bonus.

Delouise did well in that game but still a work in progress. Nofo - well can he force his way into the "Best backline in the comp?" - is he becoming injury prone (Teddy was with a few unlucky injuries). I wouldn't want to get rid of Richards just to make a spot for Nofo. He needs to come back in the lower grade and earn his spot back and not just be handed it back on a plate.

Yeah Russell, Pat may not have been the one to flick the ball from over the dead ball line last night, but had a great game as well.

Apart from making one poorish read in defence, he diffused plenty of kicks that went to that side, some strong early runs whilst also positioning himself well in attack, and of course the mighty penalty that provided another boost

Depends , are you referring to "The good WT backline" or The Bad WT backline. And on which day in particular?
As for last night. Good , but not the best. Enjoy it while we can

I think tonight we saw a backline that appreciated having a little more 'time' on their hands - the Bulldogs put very little defensive pressure on our guys all night. So yeah, when they have a bit of space and time, they looked very good. Next week may be different. But it was a great win against a Bulldogs side that was playing below their best.

While the liability is going great, its real easy at his ago to go off the rails pretty quickly. Which is why i still wouldn't be rushing into anything beyond this yr yet.
