Do we keep Mbye?

If we are serious at all about improving and making the 8, and then top 4, we need to ensure that the players in our NRL squad are true competitors. It is blatantly obvious that as a group the WTs contain very few players with the "effort on effort", hungry attitude or qualities that are required to win at this level.
With regard to Mbye specifically he has had ample opportunity to step up as a leader and has never really shown he has the right stuff, so which ever way you cut it, he needs to go. Probably sooner rather than later. In the meantime I'd be playing him at 14.

Excellent point and something that I believe will only come for us through developing our own and them coming into grade together, much like the current Penrith boys. Its a medium to long term plan but I think it’s our only real option of getting out of this hole were in

If he comes in on Reynolds, it is a 4 on 2. Souths spread the ball and the winger scores untouched.

That would have been Nofa's fault for leaving his winger unmarked.

**Lesson: It is always Nofa's fault. He can't defend**

I'm assuming this is sarcasm but sometimes it's hard to tell on here.

Difficult to top that T'eo "effort" at ANZ where he was "defending" on the line and appeared to step aside to allow the opposition to score unimpeded. Special mentions to The Princess and Mbye for consistent "efforts". Tanks for the memories.

I'd rather pay him 500k to play elsewhere next year than give him another year.

His performance and effort is a big part of what is wrong with Wests Tigers. Senior players that don't give a toss, why should the younger players care.

Yep. **As soon as he put in that pathetic attempt on Reynolds?** he should've been hooked from the field. That was as disgustingly disgraceful as it gets. He is of no use to us, would be happy to pay him his full salary to play for another club. Give someone a go who will at least have a bit of a dig. A peaheart setting the example/standards is not going to get you anywhere in this comp.

I never thought Ben T’eo would be topped

Well there you have it quoting James Bond.. Never say Never again

That was a lame attempt.

HOWEVER:

That there is Lucys fault. 5 on 3 outside

Tanking and not even hiding it.

Lowest of low to wear our jersey

His predecessor will debut for NSW at his week….thereby almost ruining the game for me, having to watch that tanker that used the tigers play in the team that has spent 2 games restoring my love of Rugby League…. I feel so conflicted

Keen to see what everyone thinks...If he goes, we would he paying a large amount of his salary and would have to replace him with someone better on minimum salary to justify it.

Do we keep him at 5/8 with Brooks playing decently having him there or do we let him go?

Major problem keeping him is we probably lose Doueihi...

No

On his effort last night I'd say he has a new club already

On yesterdays effort No club would go within 1000Klms of him.

Everyone bags TT, but I would much prefer him to Mbye at least he has a bit of a go, and his defence is nowhere near as bad as that over paid fraud.

Mbye has been recovering from an injury to get back in the side....when he played the first few games with Brooks plenty of people had a good view of him improving Lukes play...I think at this stage of his career he is a solid 14 for any team...the low barrage of crap thrown at him by some who dont even know him but think they can inflick verbal atrosities at him because the team isnt winning shows the lack of knowledge of the clubs politics...firstly he is an Ivan signing which we have had to keep so far...he always represents the club well...he was great early before injuries hit and now I feel his career is coming to a close....some others in the squad get away with crap because they are liked by fans others arent...its human nature...

But yet BT some say on here he is great defensively when he was shuffled from fb,centre, hooker, the bench and now back to 5/8....cant please everyone I suppose,,,

If you can't see that Mybe is a real tanker and you're hung up on someone who used to play for us not sure how you even Wests tigers in 2021

Mitchell Moses is not our problem.

I dont see Mbye as a tanker.I see a player that has had several injuries over the years and is at the end of his career...can you prove he is tanking....MM made it obvious he was tanking but Mbye is trying his best but it obviously isnt good enough anymore and still speaks well of the club.players and coaching staff.....

The Mitchell Moses comparison is rubbish.

Mitchell was unwanted by the coach.

Mybe is cuddled and promoted to 5/8 by the coach yet he is full on tanking. His efforts are worse that Mitchell turned in and it has gone on for longer than Mitchell.

Wake the hell to people. He is tanking.

Moses had 12 months to re-sign. He didn’t want to be here. Was irrelevant what the coach wanted.
