Wests Tigers are set to welcome back five-eighth Adam Doueihi from suspension in Round 2 after the playmaker missed his side's season opener against the Canberra Raiders on Sunday.
Doueihi was sidelined in Round 1 from a charge stemming in the final game of the 2020 season but will return to the side this Sunday as Michael Maguire's men look to bounce back against the top-of-the-table Sydney Roosters.
Having trained the off-season at five-eighth alongside Luke Brooks in the halves, the Balmain junior will likely return in the number six jersey for Sunday's clash, which was worn by versatile utility Moses Mbye against the Raiders.
With Daine Laurie strong again at the back, plenty of eyes will be on the make up of Wests Tigers' spine when announced on Tuesday afternoon
With a hand in both his side's tries and strong form with his two conversion attempts on Sunday, Brooks will bring up his 150th game in Wests Tigers colours this week — becoming the first halfback in club history to reach the milestone mark.
Despite Zane Musgrove not available from his suspension for another week, Wests Tigers will again have a strong squad of players to choose from this week with Shawn Blore (wrist) and Billy Walters (knee) the only players unavailable.
James Tamou and James Roberts both copped minor knocks against the Raiders, but Maguire confirmed after the match that the pair would be right for Round 2.
