Elijah Taylor

He would be the type of guy you add as a coach/trainer post career.

A professional and a leader.

Shame if this is how his time ends here. Professional. Does what's asked of him. Thanks for your efforts in our colours Elijah

I have to say it was poor form by the WTs trainer who made Elijah run from the field when he was clearly out of it with concussion then shoves him off to the guys on the side line, not a good look at all from a duty of care perspective.

Probably played his last game for us tonight, he looked in bad shape being assisted from the field.

Was it friendly fire or foul play from Souffs scum
Never got to see what happened

I don't know either, only saw the brief flash when he was on the sideline wearing his balls as earrings.

Same here ...
Most likely a dog shot from a Souffs scum player that went unpunished

Always gave it his all for us.

If thats the way he finishes up with us, respectfully, that is a very Elijah Taylor way to go out. Putting his body on the line defending like a beast....

I'm honestly surprised he hasn't played more first grade than what he has this year. He should have been ahead of a few others that were selected consistently. It'd be a shame if his career ends this way. I'd love to see him go to England and win the man of steel.

Wrestling coach for sure. Smart football player. Adapted many times. As I recall quite a few coaches pointed out ‘flaws’ and he changed his game repeatedly.

Poor bloke looked very concussed. Thoughts are with him. Great fella.

Might be best for him to call it a career after tonight. He's taken a lot of head knocks and has no 2021 contract. It would be the best for him and his family in my view if he considered ending it. If that's it for him I wish him all the best.

Yeah, he made a tackle on the first of a new set which is the one that rocked him, staying on his knees for a few seconds before being back in the defensive line on remote control for a couple, then getting involved in another tackle on the fourth and then going behind the line with his hands on hips for a while as the ball was turned over. In the spilt second that I saw him on the sidline with the trainers did not look good.

I love Elijah Taylor and hope we can arrange a defensive coaching gig for him - he's been a cornerstone in our defence since he joined. The fact he always made his way back in the team is a real testament to the type of player he is. Always found him a true professional.

I agree with you, and this is 100% tongue in cheek, but you wouldn't want "cornerstone of WTs defence on your resume"

Madge reckoned he copped a knock on the chin and was fine after the game. Didn't look good to me but hopefully he pulls up well today.

Yeah he was off with the fairies, I'm not sure he'll pass the concussion protocol in time for next weekend.

Hope he's alright, I've always liked ET. He's always competed out there and always given 100% in our jersey.

Always gives 100%. Fine player but his long term health should be paramount. happy for him and Fulton to be defence coaches

If you want our boys to all retire at 25 from repeated concussions.

Great defenders but wow they have both really been knocked around.
