This is an email from a tigers supporter on league unlimited. I feel the exact sane disgust. I know that supporters cant contactWT for every little problem, but i feel that this must be addressed.

I emailed the club my thoughts on this mess:

Hi there.

I'm not sure if this is the most appropriate way to contact the club, and I'm unsure how to email the CEO/management directly, but I feel I have to share my concerns.

I have been a fan of the club since its inception, and have been a member for 8 straight years.

My concerns are regarding the way in which the players have been speaking in the media of late, and the behaviour of the captain in particular which I find particularly disgraceful.

I feel there has been absolutely no respect shown by these players to the club and fans when speculating about leaving the team when they're off talking to the media on an almost-daily basis.

The manner in which they are constantly speculating about leaving the Tigers, and whilst talking about the positives of other NRL clubs, does nothing but hurt the spirits of fans and I assume the players who are proud to play for the Tigers.

I feel in particular the captain has dragged this club through the mud on a weekly basis by continually giving credence to suggestions he is leaving the Tigers. I've never seen such disrespect shown by a captain of this club in my time supporting the Tigers.

I don't understand why these players have not been given an edict by management to reply to questions from journalists that they have no comment on the matter until a decision is made.

The constant speculation is driving us fans mad! It sickens me to see the captain of the team behave in this manner on a weekly basis when I've dedicated so much of my time and energy over the course of a lifetime to this club.

If these players leave, fine, but they don't need to drag this club through the mud in the process.

If you could pass on my concerns to those who may be in a position to take this on board that would be much appreciated.

Would love to put my signature on it too. Unacceptable behaviour from so called Tigers juniors…😠😠

Yep, absolute joke. Great email. Makes me want to send one myself. The more people complain, the more they might take notice.

Respect is earned, and maybe the players and the club should earn respect before people start demanding it.

If anyone gets a response could they please post it here.

I second this, please do post it here. I want to see where they stand in all this. The players should be given an edict not to comment anymore. I just want football spoken about i.e. performances on the field and what can we do to improve.

I am really sick of contract talks and I for one don't care anymore if they leave. No player is bigger than the club. As long as we are winning games and doing everything to improve, that's all I care about now.

Guys, my son sent an email last year and Justin Pascoe went above and beyond to engage with my son. It left me very impressed with him as our CEO. He will respond, but be sure to keep it within reason, don't let your passion for this Club turn into an angry, hateful email. He wants the best for this Club as much as we do.

There was no media talk or anywhere on contract negotiations before JT got the arse.
It was a club edict.
When he got the arse it seems the edict went with him
Shame

Good email

Its funny, 37 years ago Wests lost almost half their team in one hit…that was painful but it was like ripping off a bandaid in one second....this is like a full body wax over days and weeks

Thats because we were never privy to what was happening then and or rumours, through social media. Now we are at the point of predicting what a man is thinking through his body language.
I cant believe how people have turned on Woods its like a feeding frenzy and anything good he has done for the club is being ignored because some dont like his indecision and the manner in which he is portraying it.
If he does stay some are really going to get over it but based on some of the comments not sure they will. Once you start attacking the character of a man a signature doesnt change that.

Are all those emails actually from Pascoe or are they written by someone else on Pascoe's behalf? That's how it usually works.

If you try and defend Woods, you're fighting a losing battle. He's had an offer, that is overs for his ability, on the table from this club for a long time now. He is just using the Bulldogs now to squeeze more out. Whether he stays or goes is irrelevant to me at this point. If he had taken the overs that was offered to him along time ago and got on with business, I'd be praising him now, instead, he's acting like a grub and dragging this whole situation out for more money that he doesnt deserve. If he stays, the respectable thing he needs to do is hand back the captaincy. He is no captain, he's a grub. I've lost a lot of respect for him for the way he's handled himself. If I were Pascoe, I'd be pulling the offer from the table.

The criticism around woods is too harsh. Sure we would like him to show some leadership and stay but that is purely for selfish reasons. You have to understand is he is recently married, about to sign the most important contract of his life, he has been through the wringer with the club over the last 4yrs…..he is a young bloke clearly struggling with his role ATM.

I understand its the biggest decision he has to make but, he is trying to decide between one sydney club and another so he won't have to uproot his family or move. He is looking at accepting $700k or $900k per year (figuratively speaking), which is more than some people will make in a life time.

He is our club captain which I cant see him doing at either the dogs or roosters.

why is the decision so hard.

i think he is a great footballer and i believe he gives his all on the park but this is not good from a club captain.
