Farah opens up on rift with Taylor...

Exactly Eddie and considering this was supposed to be a positive story ahead of the competition starting, the negativity towards it is not needed.

Don't be too sure Sabre. There'd be half a dozen members on here alone who would do just this.

Correct.

Like who ??

What a load of garbage

Instead of the innuendo name names

I think most on here are mature and honest enough to handle situations on their true merits

Robbie cops it on here is what I'm saying.

This thread is a perfect example. Some bloke goes from something on twitter (which turns out to be false) and then 3 or 4 blokes come in and pour some more cheap Farah hate on with their used jokes.

You used it for another cheap gaga about the hole in the fence at Ctown!

Now you can say its light hearted banter, but its another little pot shot you couldn't resist.

Many are the same, they will take any opportunity to take a pot shot at a club legend. I just think its poor form.

But your all entitled to your opinion.

Your fine with pot shots at Lawrence. Lawrence-itis didn't really catch on did it.

Lol very defensive.

Not at all Stryker

Have found him always pretty good with signatures and his dealings with my kids

He was obviously tense in Townsville in 2014 , but I don't blame him

He had just done the big interview on the Footy Show the night before and it was his 1st time in Townsville since the Tallis situation , Gordy's home town

Still posed for a picture with my young fella and asked him what happened to his arm

Never questioned his on field stuff , OK he is on the other side of the mountain

He has played his guts out for the club , just wished he kept his nose out of club politics

Players play

I dunno, your the one who is re hashing so maybe it did.

I could count on my hands the good games Lawrance has played for the Tigers over the past 5 years. Guys like Moltzen were ridiculed yet he probably had more stand out games in the same period.

I have always said he is a good bloke however I don't get the love in he gets compared to Farah who has been a consistently excellent on field contributor for a decade.

Geee it's going to be a shame when Robbie retires.

Who is everyone going to fight over on every second thread ?

Never mind his standing as one of the greatest to pull on a Tigers Jersey..

No one is going to win when it comes to Robbie. Half the supporter base love him, the other half dislike him. Half want him gone, the other half want him to stay. Half blame him for everything that goes wrong, half credit him with holding the club together over the years.

Everyone needs to give it a rest and just support the Tigers as a club. He will always be a Tigers legend and for now is an integral part of our team, lets just 'try' and support him whilst he trots out onto the field and represents us this season. You don't have to like him, but lets not make 2016 about Robbie and lets just support the club that we all love.

Hey who knows, these new structures might allow Robbie to recapture some lost form and win a few supporters over again. Stranger things have happened.

Yep. It's really poor form. Plus as per this thread I think 99% of it is made up or spun to make trivial things appear like significant ones.

Robbie doesn't like losing but the alternative gets complained about all the time. It's just that when Robbie doesn't like losing it's a personal flaw that is tearing the club apart.

The club needs to accept the responsibility for where this Robbie drama is positioned. There lack of leadership is the reason the fans base is so divided on this subject, and it will be ongoing until he is moved on.

I agree with gallagher Eddie, it's a bit rich to take pot shots at one player then fire up when people do it to another.

Some people feel about Farah the way you feel about Lawrence, particularly about value for money over recent seasons. I am not one of those people, but the Farah-associated drama has moved a lot of people from being fans to being indifferent about him. Lawrence on the other hand has no such off-field drama, but you just don't rate him.

Everyone has their favourites and targets.

I disagree with this a little. Farah isn't my favourite player and I think we have paid him well over what he is worth to our club. I reckon Benji was a lot better a player compared to Robbie.

At the same time the comments directed towards Robbie that are completely made up or spun so much to make Robbie out to be the devil I find bizarre. He has been one of the Wests Tigers best ever players and he obviously loves our club and gives it his all.

It's not about having favourites. It's about the palava comments that attack Robbie just because they want to stick to their storyline about what a bad guy Robbie is.

Lawrence is a club legend, you can't have it both ways just because you like one and don't rate the other.

Lawrence may have spent many years here but a great legacy isn't solely determined by tenure. A club legend he is not.

Side note: Lawrence-itis did catch on (he is one of the most maligned players on here and for good reason), it is just not the topic of this thread.

Now, back to the needless Farah bashing…...

The Farah vitriol has nothing on poor old Fitzy. People actually threatened to kill that poor bloke simply for turning up to play.

Poor Fitzy - a real top bloke - a legend for all the wrong reasons. Still had some fine moments a game against Canberra at Leichardt comes to mind - actually won the game for us.

He isn't? You can count on one hand the number of juniors we have produced who have gone on to represent Australia, he's one of them. Has his form dipped the last couple of yrs? Sure it has. But it hasn't been through lack of effort, he was still trying to find his feet after an horrific injury. An injury that happened when he was on the verge of being the best centre in the world and was our next captain in waiting that people have chosen to completely forget when analysing the player he is.

To say that he isn't a club legend is as disrespectful as anything said about Farah. This is a guy who almost crippled himself in our jersey. For people to brush him like he's insignificant shows how short peoples memories are with a "we only care about what you do for us today, we don't care what you did yesterday".

To put it more simply, if the same injury fell Tedesco this yr, and struggled afterwards, would his status as a a potential club legend go out the window? Would you forget the ability he had pre-injury and put down his poor form to just not having a go?

Was probably one of our best performers in the finals series in 2005 as well. Should never have come back, but he was a trier and his ability simply didn't match his ticker. Wests and Balmain fielded teams with players like him in the 90's.
