If we subsidise another team $600k. That comes off our 2018 cap. Right?

2017…Farah is contracted to WT until end 2017....Any difference in his reported 950K salary will carry on our Cap for 2017....

The NRL wont register a contract with another Club for a nominal amount...The new Club can't put Farah under there Cap for 100K....would be more like 450K...We would then carry the balance in our Cap ...

That doesn't necessarily mean the relative Clubs can't come to another 'arrangement'...

sorry Geo. i meant 2017\. i was just trying to speed type as i was getting off the ferry on a dodgy gangplank.

When the game was its fastest before the wrestle was introduced.

It was also when Farah basically just gave the ball to his halves.

Are u making things up as u go? Did u not watch robbie back then? He was one of the most creative players in the game until JT came in and put the shackles on him

In '05? Hodgson, Marshall and Prince ran the team. He knew his role and stuck to it. If he did that now he'd still be in the team.

Really?

Bit of Re-writing history going on here.

No idea how reliable he/she/they are.
If true, I imagine they'd sit on the news until after the game at Leichhardt.

Maybe w severance deal now done Taylor might put teams results in front of his agenda & play Farah for remaining games. Just a thought…

The team results should always be the priority over agenda. I hope there is no deal and Farah somehow gets back to FG

I can imagine his signing with a new club coming out in the media on Sunday morning. Just a hunch.

**_Adam Reynolds upbeat about South Sydney Rabbitohs recruiting Robbie Farah_**
Adam Reynolds has described the prospect of linking with State of Origin teammate Robbie Farah in a rejuvenated Souths spine as "great", as the Rabbitohs circle the out-of-favour Tigers hooker.

Almost resigned to the fact he won't play his 250th NRL game at the joint venture, having been designated to reserve grade again despite Luke Brooks' injury, Farah is nearing a switch to the Rabbitohs and a reunion with his brother and club physiotherapist Eddie.

Farah would rekindle his NSW combination with Reynolds, after they worked together in the first two Origin games this season.

Returning Souths skipper Greg Inglis hailed the potential recruit of Farah as a boost for the struggling 2014 premiers earlier in the week.
\
\
And Reynolds echoed Inglis' sentiments a day later.

"He'd be a great addition to any club," Reynolds said while helping launch the Sydney Darts Masters at The Star on Thursday.

"He's got a load of talent and is one of the best No.9s in the game. If he ends up at Souths, it would be great, but if he ended up elsewhere his talent wouldn't be wasted. He's obviously experienced and he's a quality player. He's won a comp at an early age and he's played a lot of rep footy.

"His knowledge for the game is great and he's a good bloke off the field as well."

The Rabbitohs have struggled to compensate for the defection of Isaac Luke to the Warriors, and Farah's bulging resume would be welcomed at Redfern by coach Michael Maguire.

But Maguire's immediate problem is arresting an alarming eight-game losing streak – including a record rout at the hands of the Raiders – when they take on his high-flying former club Melbourne at AAMI Park on Saturday night.

"Every game is just as important as the first game of the year," Reynolds said. "We want to go out there and win every game we can. For us it hasn't been the best year so far. Now it's about turning it around and finishing the year on a positive.

"It was a pretty quiet change room [after the Canberra loss] and there was a lot of disappointment. It was embarrassing, to be honest. You've just got to dump it. It's happened now and we've got to learn from it."…..................................

Whether you like him or loath him, he is still a quality first grade player and if Souths pick him up the good on Robbie. This will make Taylor and his supporters happy and depending on the arrangement free up some cash for next year.

This is the worse thing about this whole juvenile saga between Farah and the coach. I thought it was a very low act to deny him of his 250th with this club, especially since his form did not really warrant him being dropped. Playing him from the bench was working well, there was no real need to change that right now as he approaches this milestone. It was a complete dog act, but that's just my opinion.

I agree flip .

Especially when you consider the hooker that's been filling the void are just plug ins hooker.
Jason Taylor has finally defeated him i hope his proud.

Best move for both parties at this stage. Good luck to Farah at Souths.

Couldn't have expressed it better. Shows what a flawed character we have as coach. The treatment of Farah disgusts me as a Tigers fan of 40+ years. To me, it is inevitable that the next coach that takes the Tigers to premiership success WILL NOT be Jason Taylor. In the interim, we watch him treat a true Tigers legend in Farah in a most spiteful and selfish manner. It is appalling behaviour and he needs to be (and will be…in one way or another...hopefully peacefully...but....) held to account.

Absolutely agree with Flip and speaks volumes about how bitter Taylor is.
It is the lowest of low acts, and for fans to support the coach in not picking the best team when we still are a chance to make the finals, because of their own twisted viewed of Farah, is not much better.

Has anyone thought it might not be Taylor that is twisted .

Well written both LCA and Flip. It is one of the lowest points in WTs' history the way RF has been treated and the fact we have this sinner as a coach.
