I always knew Humpty was a snake, for years I copped it on here for expressing my views on him.

Just what on earth did he do while he was here?
Not much it seems

How many people did I read post they wouldnt renew unless farah was resigned? How many memberships sold under false pretences?
Much like his "Only way to see round one is to become a member" last year….like his old man, couldnt lie straight in bed, hes dodgy as.

So it looks like we have no coach, no coaching staff, no benji, possibly no robbie...hes effectively off contract...his last ''legit'' contract finishes this year I believe?

Awesome

I'd like to hear Humphreys version of events before I came to that conclusion. Don't forget that large payments like this one to Farah would need board approval before it goes through …. How do we know for sure the board was willing to sign off on what he was asking ..... I suspect the board was pressuring Humphreys to get it done provided the cost to the club was within a certain limit ..... Now it's come out the deal was never done and Humphreys was fired as a result. The role of the CEO is to carry out the strategy of the board. If the board wanted Farah and there were problems, they needed to sit down with the CEO to work on a strategy so they could sign him up but keep within the salary cap and the clubs finances. Sounds to me like Humphreys was just made a scapegoat from a board who are out of their depth. I wonder what Mayer thinks about all this !

We need a private takeover. They should take the license back off Wests and Balmain and offer Wests Tigers for sale. If nobody takes it then dissolve the club and set up another club somewhere else.

that will do me who is running the bloody place the stooges. this club is the joke of the league . when things are going bad it all starts at the top so the board should start looking at them self get some balls step a side and start again. its very easy to sack all the underlings a fish rots from the head :bash :deadhorse:

We are officially the laughing stock of all sporting codes Australia wide. The only positive is I can smell the board is about to collapse into the miserable hole it belongs in.

the board needs to step down , new blood , voted by the members , but this will never happen , balmain or wests a 50 ] 50 joint venture will never let this happen ,,, ever ,, enjoy the infighting as it will not go away , the nrl cany even stop it

When the NRL appoints an administrator and goes looking for a buyer for the whole mess, you can be sure they'll be making a few changes then. Wests Tigers are a very marketable brand, and they've been good for the profile of Rugby League as a whole. The last thing they want to do is lose the Tigers demographic across the suburbs.

I actually think the NRL will let the situation bleed.

They know that there are too many teams in Sydney. This look after Sydney's west is BS, considering the Bulldogs, Parra and Panthers are there anyway. The government won't have to worry about more stadium funding.

The NRL will put the licence up to spread the game outside of Sydney.

I agree, as fans we over exaggerate our profile and importance to the game. We are only 14 years old, there are plenty of other teams in Sydney, plenty of other teams in the west. 7k crowds at LO and CSS show our popularity.

They'd be more than happy to see us die as it would prevent them making the tough call to axe a club.

What a load of BS…...tigers are one of the Sydney big guns, and have drawn big crowds at games and huge ones on TV,have for years.

No way wold they want to lose us.

If thats the case and were are so popular why are we playing at crappy little suburban grounds? Big clubs (the real ones not tthe wanna be's like us) play at big stadiums. Rabbits,Roosters,Bulldogs.

yep there on 2GB now saying the club can't afford to pay him, the clubs going to fold, the only thing that can save them is Wests, I will no longer support a team and Rugby League soon if Balmain doesn't exist in this merger
