Well thank the gods we are playing at my most fave piece of sunday earth ever!!

Ive been standing in the same spot for soooo many years…..i just love it.....when i walk in the joint im like Ooooooooh yeah!!

Anyways.....just got my membership and calling all my tiger mates to go.....lets pack this ol gal out!!

Soooo....question is, what is yer fave Leichhardt moment and why!!

I have soooo many but two really stick out for me.....

Fistly,in 01(i think) when we beat the much fancied Parra side and Buckets took and intercept and ran 20 metres to seal it for us......it was packed, hot and the game was tight!! I was on the hill and it went bananas when Buckets scored!! Just AWESOME!!

And secondly.....the day Farah squared up with Watts....after being king hit by Watts, farah waits until the next scrum and in true tiger style unleashed about 15 furious left hands to Watts' melon who looked like he had just done ten rounds with Ali and Tyson......

Both got binned, but the tigersssss chant that rang around the ground as Robbie came of was just sooooo brilliant!!

Oh yeah i forgot about Rowdy's try.

Wasnt that great watching him smoke Slater for pace and then ride him home for 90 metres???

Ahhhhhhh…..

Yeah Simon…that has to be it....Never seen a player get a standing ovation for getting sent to the bin...happened that day with Robbie...

Rowdy was another as well as Simona carving them up stting up Ayshfords TRY was one of the great wet weather efforts...

Nofa scoring in the last minute during another LO hurricane night has to be up there!

I was soooo wet i was pouring beer on my head to dry up!

My Favourite ever was as a young fella Wayne Pearce doing his farewell lap and shaking mine (and everyone elses hand) Still my favourite player. Ive told my Its a knock out story on here, which solidified me as a tigers fan, loved him ever since.
My fav for the joint was a bit of Beau Ryan magic with a kick chase in the corner against Canberra on a Sunday arvo to win the game.

To many memories. I remember ellery hanley scoring some magical tries in 88 and roachy smashing dowling after hitting benny come to mind

First ever game i went to, was at Leichhardt Oval, ironically tigers vs wests..famly friends were split between the two….funny how it works,,,
Best local atmosphere....

The Watts game was awesome, as was the Titans game where Prince complained to the ref about sending Friend off with Gibbs…

But my favourite game was definitely the Storm Salary Cap Scandal game... The Crowd gave it to them all game, even my wife!

My favourite Leichhardt oval moment is thevsouths game in 2005 when there was 22873 people packed into the ground. The atomsphere was electric and the Tigers had a big win. It was there 5th straight win and the Tigers were on a roll.

Ah yes Goose ….my sister and i are on the video of Wayne's Pearce's local hero Video.
So many memories at that place , even from the bloke selling hot Dogs just outside the Ground " Hot Doggie Hot Doggie" .
My Mate and i used to say to the Hot Doggie Bloke give us a "Go you Mighty Tigers " in a loud voice and we used to give him a $2.00 Tip . True Story.

One I have told a fair few times on this website is the one about Balmain's last game at Leichhardt in 1999\. It was my girlfriend's first ever live game. We were standing on the concrete in front of the hill. It was raining. It was freezing cold. The water was running down the hill in torrents over our feet.

Parra were red hot favourites, and when they scored early, I thought it would be a long night. But the boys dug deep, and ground out a fantastic underdog win. The crowd was unbelievable!

Getting my girlfriend home, I was wondering what she would say. As she got out of the car, she asked when the next game was.

It was then I knew she was a keeper!

Watching Larry Corowa - The Black Flash - streaming down the touchline. The crowd used to rise to their feet every time he got the ball.

The only other player i've this happen for is The Black Pearl - Ellery Hanley.

Like all of you, I had some amazing times out at Leichhardt - when I was a kid watching Balmain - sitting there on the hill and the planes coming directly overhead on their way to the airport.
One game - against Canterbury. We were at 28 all and only a few minutes to go. Canterbury's winger was away down the western touch line - going to score for all money. Then Len Killeen, who hardly made a tackle all year, flew through the air, grabbed the back of this guys collar and somehow managed to get him into touch. It was like we'd won the comp!
It was a crap venue 45 years ago. Must be so much worse now. But by God, it'd be sad to see it go!
