Look mate I'm working on the Happy's kiss of death theory

The more I bag them , the better they will perform

If we had Kruse, Rogic and Kennedy fit we'd be a chance at progressing. I think our best result is going to be a 2 goal loss to the Netherlands unfortunately.

I'm currently in Cuiaba, Brazil.. The Chileans are so cocky it's not funny..
Really hope the boys can lift & get a result.

You mean in the game or the time of morning?

I presume he meant the game, and he was right. Brazil ran home 3-1\. Neymar already has two goals on the board.

Marcelo must be thanking his lucky stars

South Americans and own goals are a recipe for disaster in WC games 😱pen_mouth:

Placed a multi bet earlier in the week and two of the legs were Chile to beat Australia (yes, call me disloyal but the odds were good  ) and Uruguay to beat Costa Rica on Sunday….

While having some sort of knowledge about the first bet I can't say I know a lot about the second one, I just placed it because the odds suggested it was a certainty.....Any of the football experts on here know much about either Uruguay or Costa Rica and how the game might pan out?

I can't believe there's only been 8 different winners of the World Cup since it started in 1930 …
(Total of 19 World Cup tournaments).
Brazil x 5
Italy x 4
Germany x 3
Argentina x 2
Uruguay x 2
France x 1
England x 1
Spain x 1
Come on Aussies ! Lol

Uruguay are a good side and should beat Costa Rica comfortably

I won't be surprised if Uruguay make the last 4 depending how they finish in the group stages

Costa Rica will get smashed by Uruguay.

In regard to the post about World Cup winners (West) Germany arguably are the most consistently successful side, making the final four a staggering 12 (7 times making the final,) out of 19 times.

Next closest is Brazil with 9 (7 making the final,) from 19 and Italy with 8 (6 times making the final, from 19.

Uruguay are one of the strongest teams in the tournament, Costa Rica are one of the weakest.

10 minutes of watching people fall over, scream in pain and writhe around - and get rewarded by the ref every time - reminds me why i don;t watch soccer.

Yeh me too.
I think its an even harder game to watch for rugby league fans…collisions that wouldnt bruise a banana end in excruciating agony on a soccer pitch
