How's it been?
Hopefully all still putting the work in.

I been mixing the routine up.
Chest/Bis
Back/Tris
Legs/Shoulders
Super set arm day.

Light work.
Getting good results too.

Good combinations, used to run that routine back in the day.

My strength work for my knee rehab is coming along well. Got a green light to start running this week and so far so good. Continue to target my flutes and hammys and my flexibility has improved.

Last Monday did leg work, and very light squats.
Still have fluid around knee area.
Still having trouble walking downstairs.

Right knee Arthrotomy and PVNS Excision Operation was in late August 2019, and I have 6 weekly progress check up.
Saw knee specialist, last Wednesday. He's concerned about amount of fluid still around knee area, and knee cap position. Sent for MRI last Friday.

Visit knee specialist again on Wednesday 4 March. I'm prepared for him to tell me that I am going require an Arthroscope to go in and have a look.

Yes I have been, although not much in last two weeks, also walking up and down stairs, walking along and lifting right knee up in air etc.
Whilst it is a little frustrating, ( and we all are used to this being wests tigers fans) it will eventually get better from whichever course of action is taken.
So it's a case of ' hurry up and wait"

I smashed big bi and tri superset this morning at 6am.

Then mowed the lawn.
Got a new Honda whipper snipper.
First use today... things a rig.

Smashed a whole bunch of yard and housework over the weekend getting the house ready for sale. Hurting this morning but in a good way.

Get sweaty and use all the muscles.
My legs are aching today.

I hear ya.
Doing 5000 steps pushing a mower....
Ehhh hard work

Pressure cleaned and painted my roof a few weeks back, that was a good work out

But trying hard to get back into some weights this week, body is feeling soft
Also went for a skate before work, legs are wrecked 😂

Been meaning to post here for a while but too lazy... I've got a basic set up on my garage, power tower, incline decline bench with cables... Flat bench stationary bike... I forget he names most of the exercises I do, dips and leg & knee raises on the tower.... Lat pull downs as well as traps and tris on the high cable though they say shrugs are better for traps as the upright row can pinch the shoulders, it is a bit uncomfortable... Incline and decline bench press with dumbbell flies for pecs as well as the forward facing dips for pecs and tris.
Got a curl bar for bis as well as preacher attachment for bi curls
Leg extensions and curls, dumbbell lunges and goblet squats as well as deadlifts t hough I think. I got a effn heamaroid from the dead lift so gave that away for a while.... Thought the doctor was gunna finger me but thankfully the proctosedyl he prescribed did the trick.
I Do 30kg backpack calf raises also for the legs.. Dumbbell side raises.. Push-ups... Crunches etc etc..
Been working out since 2011....ive made some bad bad choices in the past re drugs and alcohol... All the crap tha goes with that but is now in the past but I've a chronic liver condition that really makes it difficult to build muscle plus a metabolism similar to hodgo I'm wht they call. I think a lean gainer.
I'm 56 now and clean living very important to me... One positive thing I managed to pass onto my son... He's into good eating and fitness too.
I think of my diet 10 or 12 years back it wasn't that bad but not good either... Lots of soft drink, sugar... White bread and junk food.... Now no sugar bar the odd Choc or ice cream... Little bread at all, brown rice, lots of veges, quinoa etc.. My lovely partner makes us smoothies every day chia seeds yoghurt and different fruits celery & spinach every day... Yellow red green... Very filling and very healthy and tasty.
I walka lot at work and start early so workouts are arvos.. Sometimes I'm too buggered or it's too hot... Sometimes I never to walk 20km at work so I don't give a stuff my excuses are good enough for me but it's rare when I do pike out... Sometime will wake early like 4am and do a bit before work but no often.
Had to go for a colonoscopy last week at West mead in hospital for the day hanks to my dicky liver... It's all.ongoing these tests blood tests ultrasounds colonoscopy etc tho it's all my own fault... Doctor asked me if I was a marathon runner or triathlete 🤣 as my heart rate is quite low (50bpm) apparently fit people have low heart rate... BP and cholesterol is all fine.. Doctors comment made me laugh though they were concerned with the anaesthesia and my low heart rate.

As we age we gotta prepare for older.... My old neighbour was an ex postie.. Racked with arthritis poor bloke... Had to put his bins out for him sometimes... Need to try and prepare for older and be as healthy as possible... The bursitis in my shoulder and tendinitis in both elbows really hold me back... Bike accident years back resulted in fracture neck an collarbone dislocated shoulder still gives me grief... Voltarens help though not good for the bloody liver.
It would be great to go back. In ime and do things differently but that's a dream we can only go from today... Boys as we get older keep the body AND brain moving or else it will fail us... Use it or lose it - sorry had to toss a cliche in ☺️

Sounds like you made the right decisions at the right time Ink You sound pretty fit for a bloke your age. Do anything you can to stave off the muscle atrophy.

Can't change the past, just make the best of what you've got.

Low heart rates are good if you're fit. A bloke unused to work did ironmans. He had a heart rate in the high 40's and he was just turned 50. Insanely fit.

Fresh out of the sin bin guys.
Been hitting that bench press and heavy bag.
Looking and feeling fresh.

Shout out the legal team @Milky and king @Kul for reducing the sentence.

Also shout out my co-defedant @hobbo1
And the ball runners holding it down in my absence @happy_tiger @JoshColeman99 @Sausagesorcerer @innsaneink @TheDaBoss

Apologies to my victims @cochise @avocadoontoast @MacDougall @prattenpark for the ongoing verbal abuse and bullying

Respect to @willow @Geo @Spartan117
Thanks for the time out.
Looking forward to being less reckless with the words and continue to be 1 of the heavy hitters out here in the endz.
