I've never been a big fan of vanilla slice but after 26 years with my better half she decided to surprise me with creme schnitten, basically vanilla slice. She makes the whole thing, about a meter long, including filo pastry, from scratch and it is melt in your mouth delicious. Not really on my diet though. So, as it turns out, I dont have to go very far for snot block, although if I ever called it that she would never make it again.

I have to be very careful to not overdo it. Everything in moderation and all that. Fortunately I can only eat about four of the things she bakes and generally my turns are only at Christmas, Fathers day, and my Birthday, the rest are for her and the kids.
