Gavin Badger hang your head in shame

Soft option blaming the ref only Tottie.

Not at all. As i said we were not flash and neither were the broncos, but an 8 - 4 penalty count contributes to the outcome and the ruck was slowed by them with no punishment in fact qr least one of the four penalties to us was from foul play.

Both teams were less potent than normal and the bounce of the ball and calls from the refs went with brisbane tonight.

Hoping Badger had to be escorted out of the ground tonight. Might make him think twice about going on the take again!

McCullough and Hunt are forward-pass merchants, always have been. Surely Oates goes in for his first off at least a half-metre forward. Fox only replayed it from ground angles in the wrap, but live I was certain it should have been called up.

The Copley one at the end they never replayed - he appeared to clearly lose it forward in the act of attempting to offload? How can Richards get pinged for tackling a dude off a knock-on?

yeah, exactly…. and it will fly under the radar and we will enter another week full of more bad decisions whilst they collect their pay cheques.

Guys it cost us the game. 1st try no try forward pass. halfback passes before the 10 metre line and try scorer takes it after the 10 metre line. I mean why are the lines there for. That was a disgrace. Then the penalty to go 2 points ahead with 10mins. he could of blowen numerous penalties against Brisbane for laying in the ruck but he was gutless. Tigers could of got away with that but the guys in the middle made sure of a broncs win. I don't like bagging refs but that was disgusting.

Look our lack of attack cost us the game probably about the same amount as the biased refereeing. We had enough good field position to win that game last night and should look at why we can't execute better close to the line. Farah would have won us that game last night.

However the refereeing was extremely biased. As others have said their was no way they deserved to win the penalty count.

The Broncos were never back anywhere near 10 metres the whole game. I saw one time close to our line the ball runner got hit be 4 Broncos the moment he got it from dummy half. Either the Broncos are full of world class sprinters or they were back about 6 metres (I looked on the replay there were back maybe 6 metres at the most).

The amount of forward passes not called, the holding down in the ruck, the constant offside was beyond a joke and then to give a game winning penalty for tackling a guy after he knocks hinted (nicest word I can use) on trying (again holding back on what I really feel) to determine the outcome.

Last night was the time for Potter to blow up at the refs; he should have said they were one sided, not of NRL standard and inept. Pay the $10,000 fine, it is good money to spend as future refs are worried about copping a spray that you usually win the next month of penalty counts.

In round 9 when we got done by the roosters , Matt cecchin awarded the roosters a try followed by a Brett lee style chainsaw fist pump !
I couldn't believe it when I seen it .. The nrl is the worst officiated sport on the planet by a mile .

Thats the one where badger or the other ref focussed and waited for a signal from the touchie - obviously the ref had an idea it was forward but left it to the touchie who was 20m away

Am I alone in thinking what he said to Keefy is worthy of further investigation? :wtf

No you are not alone, mate. It definitely needs to be investigated and Badger should be made to publicly explain exactly what he meant by this!

I would normally agree that the refs didn't decide the game but when 2 incorrect calls cost us 8 points and half a dozen other calls go against us in such a low scoring game- I'm sorry but the refs are as much to blame as our crap attack.

They had an agenda there- without a doubt. They went in with a basic idea of how the game will go and did everything possible to make sure it went that way.

The last month has seen ref interpretations swing back to bring teams like the Roosters, Souths & Storm back into the finals picture.

The standard of football has suffered because of it as well

And another one,he sent Brooks off for the head knock, you can hear and see him waving him to go,yet he lets McCullough stay, why is it one rule for us,and a different one for them.

I heard that through SportsEars at the ground so wasn't sure it when to air. What minute did it happen so I can do back and look at it?

For those who want to watch/hear what Badger said – http://youtu.be/qcwwSs68SSA

Due to circumstances I have not yet seen this match, However if Badger made this remark early in the match it certainly reeks of bias and demands investigation.
