Grew up on golf courses tho.
Probably couldn't compete with a seasoned specialist like you.

Mate I reckon for the first game it should be just an expression of interest one.
Chat with someone like truetiger and tee up a game and then ask the forum if anyone else is interested to come along.
Get a handful a just have a hit. Then at the 19th you could have a chat and see if anyone is keen in having a hit once or twice a year.
Take some pics and post them on the forum and I guarantee you'll get more people to the next game and it will be more organised and fun.

Most important day tomorrow at Augusta.
Smith is probably our best chance and he'll be in the early stages of his round when Foxtel broadcast starts in the morning.
If he can stay within a couple of the leader then it's game on Monday morning.
 
Smith playing out of his skin to get to second at half way point, but so is the world's number 1, 5 shots clear.
Anything can happen.

He's only 3 behind now and history has it that the eventual winner normally comes from within the final pairing.
Even if you don't like golf, you could be about to witness history in Australian sport.

Ive got the champers on ice....not putting a mocker on him,but also history shows that the final pairings have had bad capitulations as well....PRESSURE and who handles it best wins....

Win in UFC followed by wins by tigers and Smith, arhhhh don't wake me up.

the chip in was unbelievable
the doco has him viewing the footage and discussing it, he was like there is no way Mize can get a chip in I just need to lag it up and sink the putt. Then Mize nails the chip in and he said he had to change his approach and line and missed the putt.
Interesting when he won his first major the Open they interviewed Niklaus who said he went up to Norman and said on Sunday play a lose club grip and he said he took notice and did and nailed it.
Faldo commented on the 96 Masters on the Sunday he noticed Norman was changing his grip and gripping tight and addressing the ball longer than previous rounds, Norman said yep it was nerves that got him on the sunday
Golf is a funny sport plays mental games with you, I remember I lost club championship a few years ago on a count back,probably the one sport where nerves really come in to play

I'd be gutted but you certainly have the runs on the board mate.
Last year after 4 rds, two guys were nett square so they had a play-off the following Saturday.
It was tied all the way under matchplay format till the 18th where the eventual winner sank a 20 footer putt to win.
Can't get much closer than that.
Years ago a similar thing happened to me in B grade but I lost the play-off on the 14th 😣

it sucks losing playoffs
 
Recovering from a hip replacement but keen to get back on course in about 6 weeks.
