Great Effort tonight

We may have lost tonight but with only 45% possession , 10-5 penalty count away from home and the Warriors being incredibly pumped up we put in a massive effort and I was impressed with our boys.

HOld their heads up high and I think we will give it to the raiders next week

I agree. Playing consistent (but not great) footy, which will only get better.

Defense for the most part is holding up well.

Definitely felt like they were swimming against a very strong current all game.

Yep very happy that we seem to have a never give up attitude this year which is new for us and good to see.

Rub of the green and bounce of the ball favoured the home team tonight but I am proud we competed all the way particularly on a short turnaround and trip to N.Z

Happy with the effort. Warriors are good side and when hot they are very hard to stop. They were hot for 15 mins tonight and we reeled them back in. I thought we were the best side in the second half.

Yeah i was so close in changing my tip to the Warriors yesterday . Loyalty is my biggest problem at times .

The speed of the Warriors play the ball in the first half was ridiculous, and the refs let them walk forward off the mark giving them another 10 metres per set. Overall we are definitely a better structured team but allot of us have to accept the days of brilliant attacking football may be over for a while. We are going to grind out wins and only the odd flash of the past.
Refs were shocking again tonight, time for AI to replace them!

Cannot fault the effort, I thought we were going to be destroyed after 30 minutes but we did well to fight back. Try line defence in the second half was excellent.

I know this isn't the banter thread, but at least we usually all show our loyalty by tipping the tigers. They have been 4/6 this year with and without starts.

True. Moses looks much more confident every week. Brooks looked dangerous late in the second half with that run close to the line and that chip and chase nearly got a result.

yeah good effort, stuff to work on but improving every week i think.

only difference is who we play, first two weeks crappy teams then dogs and souths, last week the eels who were very off and tonight the warriors who played perhaps their best game this year (although thats not really saying much) and at home

attack is getting better. defence was a bit off tonight, but understandable given the unstructured attack of the warriors and the mountain of field position.
