Did I read correctly,he is in the 300 richest men in the world?
I'm sorry but uncle Harry should have dug deeper in his pockets.
I might be missing something and I have been saying this for years but if the the 3rd richest Australian is your 'biggest fan' we shouldn't be a financial mess. Thanks for the kitchen but we need more than that to fix us up

iam sorry what do you want blood he has been giving for donkeys years, please be thankful for someone supporting our dysfunctional club .I will say thank you harry for all your support

Another fluff piece exaggerating praise for someone who does very little from Mayer's go to man Proszenko.
The players are paying for the new food service. If Wests Tigers "biggest fan" really wanted to do something then pay for everything.
He neglects to mention that the players have to pay $50 a week for the Chef and the Lunch !
I doubt Souths or the Roosters have to pay for their lunch.

And what did we do with the money that he did give us? He's probably happy that he didn't give us more.

Come on guys this is Australia every thing should be free remember ! Just ask Mr Shorten ..but wait there is more Judgment day is not to far off when the free lunch will be over.
Thanks Mr Triguboff for your help the article did state that he is building the Kitchen not supplying the food for FREE,maybe the players can go up to Ashfield to visit Bill Cruze for a free lunch.

maybe im being a little selfish
And thanks for being a sponsor and all that but I just think he could be doing more financially.I dont knowwhy he just doesnt buy the balmain end of the joint venture.all comes down to it not being a profitable buisness option to the Triguboffs I suppose but to the 280th richest man in the world should be able to absorb the financial loss of a rugby league team surely

Ummm fairly sure that as elite athletes the players are entitled to claim all food expenses.

However, one would hope that the club would be in a position to cater for all these kinds of things (excuse the pun)

Do they use proper cutlery and crockery?

Do we have a commercial dishwasher?
Seriously, I need to know.

If it's 50 bucks for meals made by a private chef for a week that's a pretty good deal and clearly heavily subsidized. You couldn't eat hot dogs at the servo for a week for $50.

I only hope for his sake that uncle Harry lives long enough to see the club have some success in his twilight years.

It might actually be far better for the players financially to be charged $50 than to get it free. I could be wrong, but a contractual right to free food may be a fringe benefit under the tax law. By paying $50 then offsetting it against their assessable income they might be better off. Or maybe I'm overthinking it (and giving the club too much credit) by assuming they have gone to this level of detail.

I don't know about the cutlery, but it wouldn't surprise me if a few former players end up staffing the cafeteria in a job for the boys program. In any case, better them serving lunches than working as unqualified S and C staff.

Who asked him to build a kitchen and then force players to eat there at a cost?
Why don't they charge the players for using the gym ?
What about we charge the players for having their jersey's washed each week maybe we can get one of the mums to wash them free of charge.

The players would spend more than that at the food court….. Remember there's no such thing as a free lunch. Soufs sold their soul to get theirs

That was my thought exactly he is in the top 300 yet he pays the minimal as our major sponsor then comes out and says he is building us a new kitchen wtf we have been screaming for the past 5 yrs or so for a new gym sorry uncle H the kitchen just doesn't cut it

Maybe Harry's going to hire Gordon Ramsey to tell the boys how they performed ?

It was in relation to the 2nd post in this thread anyone with a clue could see that.

The only one looking to start a s€€tfight is you my sad friend…get a life :unamused:

I can understand that some on this forum are critical of Harry's gestures and input to the club, however, nothing needs to lead into a s..t fight or argument that isn't needed.

Why can't everyone realise that Harry does what he does for the love and passion for the WTs…in whatever respect he chooses to sponsor the club....

Shouldn't we be GRATEFUL for that .......
