HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

V’Landys and the NRL couldn’t give a toss about the Wests Tigers, mark my words.
Was only a month ago there was a conspiracy we were being punished over Richo’s stance on Vegas with the round 1 bye. A month later people were expecting him to be the club’s white knight.

Looks that way, the game has sat down with its thumb up its rear for 25 years the majority of the time were mocked and laughed at and they've never done anything to fix it. Funny though cause to secure Balmains debt the N.R.L required us to place independant board members, when Go came. Now the independants we have are gone and atm it's crickets.

Perhaps a polite email to the local members of government for councils, state and federal electorates that take in Wests Tigers areas might be something to think about. Darcy Byrne is doing a great job, but there are a lot more political voices that could get involved and would really push for change.

Apologies, but what's the government done for us ever?

The NRL is where it's at.

Wests Tigers fans are completely at loggerheads with a clubs owners. Happens a lot in professional sport (see West Ham). Will depend if the owners can hack empty stadiums, no revenue and poor publicity. After 15 years of failure, it’s par for the course.

PVL or Abdo really need to grasp this by the scruff of the neck … PVL has had two goes at it already …

Political pressure can force change, especially when councils and governments are putting money into infrastructure that may go to waste if fans walk away and leaves the stadiums empty or the centres of excellence or other connections that the politicians want to have for positive promotion of their actions.

And PVL loves the political connections, if they turn on the NRL, or start questioning its lack of action, then it may also force change.

Plus possibly just more powerful voices to add to the support.
