HBG, Independent Directors Sacked

Gotta make money - A sold out Leichhardt, And we barely make a buck.
Sold out Cambo we'd do better, But it doesn't sell out as often (Last year was soo good though)

It is what it is,
Everyone wants us to play at a Boutique ground - Everyone wants it to be Free.
If Darcy wants us to drop the Prices, Get his mob to front with the running costs.

Not sure if it's still the case,
In the old days we used to have to pay for Security, Traffic Control, the mobile Big Screen on game day. The Club even paid for repairs to the Carpark and the Footpath around to the pool on the other side of the road. (For some reason god only knows)
Yeah understood mate.

They need some savvy business folks in there who know how to maximise the return without burning the loyal fans.

Did you mean 2024 for Campbelltown? It didn’t sell out last year.

You leave out parts of the story that dont suit your narrative. He left because his contract stipulated that there must be an independent board...

So tell me where exactly I am being naive?
That certain people you are infatuated in are so sweet and innocent.

You’re the one that started the ‘assumption’ on the impact on players. Your knowledge of the players feelings is …….

“I think if you went and asked the playing group if they care or are upset about our former CEO resigning of a couple of board members being removed, you would be very surprised with their answers.”
Incorrect.
Multiple people posted that our former CEO and a couple of board members departing would be having a negative effect on our players.
That’s an assumption, nobody knew this as fact, but were happy run with it anyway.

I think those prices are for some "one game membership" deal....hopefully actual entry ticket only prices will be in line with the rest of the clubs and.much more reasonable

Im not sure who sets prices

No conspiracy Cambo the same apparently
Yes it's a one game membership.

Get someone to speak with the players instead of having no clue and trying to portray they are all upset about our former CEO and a couple of board members departing.
It’s a non issue, a storm in a teacup, so stop trying to cause a problem that doesn’t exist.
Did you watch Benji's press conference when hus extension was announced?

I'm surprised some journos haven't followed up with the NRL on the outcome into its investigation into the whistleblower claims. Richo's credibility is on the line. Won't his next employer want to know the outcome?
I think Richo is happily retired and digging any further into it would only create a he said, she said type situation which is no good for anyone involved.

“Hi Darcy!

Just to avoid any confusion, the prices currently displayed on Ticketek for our 2026 NRL home games are for our One Game Memberships.

By becoming a Member, in addition to seeing the Tigers run out at the 8th Wonder, you get a heap of other great benefits including discounts on merchandise and tickets, and to Member-only events plus plenty of other great perks!

Ticket pricing at Leichhardt Oval remains the same from the 2025 to 2026 NRL seasons, with children’s tickets starting at $27.

Tickets to Wests Tigers NRL home games (Rounds 2-8) will go on sale to the general public on Friday, 13 February.”
Still think that $27 as the bottom end price for a kid's ticket is much too high. Puts it out of the reach of many families.

I can multi task
I don’t doubt you can.
I know you are going say you have no confidence that will happen, but surely it’s best for Wests Tigers as a rugby league club if we simply hear nothing more about anything other than the rugby league anytime soon ?

Did you watch Benji's press conference when hus extension was announced?
Yes and he sounded like he was trying to be very diplomatic and trying to defuse the situation as best as possible.
He’s not going to come out publically and say we were happy to see the back of our former CEO is he ?

A few posts back you said Richo was cleared of any wrong doing. Yet here you are, again, accusing him of something. So what did he do wrong?

The party you represent obviously must not be too clean if they keep leaking all this information for you to come and spread it on a forum? Glass houses.

How thick are you?
If he was happy, he'd have looked up beat.
He looked in shock.
He looked like he didnt have a clue what was happening.

Whos your puppeteer btw?

It’s called respect.
Richo always publically backed Benji, respectfully he was always going to do the same in return.
Same with Jerome.

If you have the best pies in Australia and you can only manufacture 100 a day and keep selling out, do you keep the price at $4 or increase to $8?

Similarly, if Leichhardt keeps selling out, it's simply price elasticity if demand in terms of Leichhardt. This wouldn't make people happy, but bump the prices as high as they can go until sell outs start becoming affected.

Like you say, gotta make money.
