You can't expect fans to show up and support our club when the club won't support there base team of the district
The avg fan, family out Campbelltown way wouldn't either give this a passing thought. I truly believe there are other factors around this. They need to do some research and find out why fans did not flock to see a WT team trying to get it's 5th win in a row and get it's roll on for the serious end of the season…
I agree
The Campbelltown Area is a great big mixture of people from all parts of sydney, young families looking for affordable housing and new estates they dont all support the Magpies or the the Tigers,so in turn they bring there other team loyaties to the District.
Sorry, thats just fanciful. Even allowing for the migration of younger families towards the south west, the Magpies had a generation to build a connection with the community and the Wests Tigers have had 13 years. It's 30 years of presence in the McCarthur. If 13,000 punters on a genuinely great Sunday afternoon are the end result of that ongoing presence, there is a problem, which urgently needs attention. Winning hearts and minds is not difficult, it takes resources, time and some determination, that's all
