Well I dunno what to make of all this regarding Benji's attitude, but remember too, when selected for NZ, his national coach told him to pull his head in if he wanted to retain the captaincy. Ouch.

I am sure that it is possible that these "rumblings" may be true…..BUT....

All these reports are EXACTLY the same as what was being printed about Parra at the start of the season, exactly down to the same internal rumblings (in their case it was Hindmarsh), they won a few and all is rosy. It seems to me that the DT has a template marked "struggling NRL team" that they fill in the blanks on for a couple of weeks.

A couple of wins would be good.

if the players were allowed in the pub like they were back in the days of dallas, les, blockie and alike this would have all been sorted out by now. Instead now they carry on like the local sheilas tennis club.

for me personally i named robbie and benji and the players who were at odds with them i didnt want to name for there sake but i have given very easy clues and people have since guessed right that person among "others" is heighno its not the first time rhino and benji havent seen eye to eye.rhino always seems to be on the side of character while benji is on the side of sharp witted excuses.

our hindmarsh is heighno he should be captain but if he got it some other egos would feel "victimised" as they "dont like sitting at the back of the bus" if you read this quote carefully you will see the core reason why the club has a current problem. :brick: :brick: :brick: im off to work now but i will resume this chat ten hours from now.

From reading the posts, this situation seems exactly like the one my soccer team is in. It has been going on for weeks. The coaches are making joint decisions which are soft, rather than the head coach making the decision everyone sticks by. There are groups in the side which are formed by ego what they think is best for them. The rest of the blokes just want to play, but attitude is hindering talent. My soccer side hasn't found the solution. I hope this club does.
