Do something else with it. Even if we can't do something else with it I think that is the better option. If he comes which I expect he will his attitude will change quickly.

If he refuses to play that would be a better outcome for us because the NRL would take him out of our cap and we don't pay him. Different if he just kicks stones and under performs because that would be the opposite. This is an opinion only based on standard business principles that the players association keep harping on about. They can't have it both ways.

Good points. Can the NRL be in charge of contracts?
I know they ratify them but what if they were to handle the whole process once two parties come to the table.
