ISP Round 11 vs. Knights

Littlejohn is so composed. Very good player IMO.

Marsters looks very good.

Heleta is Sam Perrett like.

Really like Littlejohns control. He's a first grader.

Jacobs had big wraps in Qld in the junior ranks , but many seem to have written him off at NYC level

Has some size , looks OK

HT WT 22-4..

Grant Littlejohn Cassel Jacobs Mapasone and Heleta have been our best…Marsters hasn't looked out of place either...

Thoughts on Edwards everyone?

To me - he really looks like he'll never make it out of reserve grade.
Not impressive.

Are my eyes playing tricks , or is our In Trust Super Cup forward pack bigger than our NRL forward pack and possibly even our back line bigger and stronger looking as well ??

Demps Edwards is better than Halatau for starters

Jacobs looks good and **Mapesone could be a star.**

He could be our very own Fa'amanu Brown -
Gun player waiting in the winds that barely gets a look in :frowning:

I think he's been ok today but not enough to suggest he's ready for NRL again. Still looks a little slow which he can get away with at this level.

More than likely, lol!!

Don't think much of Halatau 2k16
However Edwards doesn't and didn't show much (in the first half at least….)

Our forwards again too strong for this opposition, Graham, J Grant, Edwards, Masters, Lolo, Eisenhuth, Cassel easily dominating in defence and attack. Good game by our halves Littlejohn & Mapasone. Cherrington was good at dummy half, and Haleta safe , with good footwork.
Jacobs at LC had a few nice offloads.
Go Tigers :sign:

I have a theory on Edwards. Preseason we heard the plan was for Edwards to start at lock then move into the front row rotation. Im thinking he bulked up to play this role. The extra bulk has left him unfit and sluggish. He needs to trim back down and get fit.

Actually think he has been good, more match fitness and he would be an asset in first grade. Mapesones short kicking is lovely.

I thought Edwards was excellent in the first half. Best middle forward. Great defence. A lot of stinging tackles. A true primary defender which we lack in first grade.

Esan Marsters looks to have a big future and gee Watson Heleta's body shape has changed. Was a short stocky centre as schoolboy player and in NYC. Now looks like a genuine fullback.

Excellent set of 6 sees Marshall score…thats 3 more than his brother..

WT 28-4...30min to go..

On Edwards He's made some good charges today...defended well often making back to back to back tackles...but I think KS is onto something...

Peni puts Wheelhouse in with a Gidleyesque pass..

WT 32-4…23min to go..

Peni's in on the act scoring from a Scrum…

WT 38-4...14min to go..
