ISP Round 11 vs. Knights

Great win for the boys today, completely dominant performance. Hope FG follow suit for a change.

Mapesone is so much bigger than I remember. Tank now. Played great. Peni, Heleta and Jacobs all quality… and we have centre issues puh-lease blood someone.

Marsters, Grant, Graham, Edwards were gun today too.

Back from the Ferris Wheel…

Great team effort not a bad player ...Forwards stepped up Littlejohn and Mapasone were very good as was Marshall-King from dummy-half....

FT WT 38-8..

Back to your pie cart now

Mapesone very impressive and great to see a half with some size although amazing to remember Brooks is less then 13 months older then him. Really helps me remember to give Brooks time

Reckon Mapesone would ever get a run in firsts? He wouldn't be a liability in defence…

Just thinking outside the box

Boy! that Grant is a good player. Marsters not far behind. All played well.

grant was great today he should be given a go in the topside sooner rather than latter, marsters will be a very good player in years to come still very young. and a liked the look of jacobs he was great.

Really impressed with Peni,Grant,Mapesone and I know it's a level down but I think Littlejohn is a very handy back-up for NRL.

What a fantastic display that was. It's the first time I've been able to get a glimpse of these guys that you fellas mention. It really is shocking that the players chosen so far that haven't performed in firsts were actually the first chosen. Even more shocking that players like Sirro, Nofo, Kev and a few others haven't had their positions threatened. There's some very good players amongst that lot.

Mapesone is interesting, hasn’t had the fanfare of some better known youngsters we are all aware of but made the step up in grade and handled himself well, did the job required of him and did it well, haven’t seen a lot of him but seems to have improved massively on what I remember of him.

Mapesone is the same as he's always been, a stocky half who's a very good runner but has a poor passing game and long kicking game for a half. He did bomb 2-3 tries with forward passes, which has been the case throughout his career. Still his first game in nsw cup and he didn't look out of place next to a more dominant half. Can see him being Fiji's halfback for the next 10 years though which would still be a big step up for them.

Edwards was very strong. Led the tackle count, often made 2-3 tackles in a row and made some good hitups. Would definitely have him on teh bench over halatau, especially if Robbie+Ballin are named.

Was probably the best JLJ has played all season so credit to him for stepping up with Drinkwater moving on.

Front rowers Grant and Graham both run very hard, Lolo and Eisenhuth are a definite drop in quality but hopefully Griffin can return or Felise moves to NSW cup to help cover the rotation.

Marsters wasn't bad, was fairly quiet but threw an excellent cut out ball to put Tohi away for Cherrington's try. Great ball.

Easy win against a poor team, but you've still got to show up and play for the full 80.

worked all day Sat and unfortunately forgot to IQ it. disspaointed as really wanted to see the how the NYC boys went. Thanks for the reports everyone especially BB who I know watches a lot of the lower grades so value yours.

Mapesone is an interesting one, never thought he would go past NYC level but to me he has improved a lot this year. Dont think he'll ever be a starting NRL half but I think he could be a decent bench utility as he can cover a lot of positions.

Jacobs is another whos come from nowhere. If Hoeter and Milone played first grade this guy should end up playing 150 games. Very sound in defence which is a massive positive in an NYC back.

IF first grade stays healthy this team should really challenge for the title, even without DW.
