He has an offer but tigers won't pay overs. Lots of good outside backs off contract for 2018 so his bargaining power is lessened.

@ said:@ said:There's 2 options for Tedesco at WT. he has an offer of close to 1 million per season but the length of contract is the stalling point. So they can either give the extra 2 seasons or have to bump his pay up to around the 1.1 million a season on the current deal offered.
If I was a tigers fan I'd be pretty confident he will stay and a deal will be struck very soon.
And Woods and Moses?…is it true Moses is asking way overs to stay?
@ said:I reckon Woods will accept the offer on the table for him and he will sign up before Saturdays game,
@ said:@ said:@ said:What I can reveal is that the original contracts to woods and brooks have been pulled and are being restructured (based on years of contracts for woods and amount of dollars and years for brooks)
Tedesco will re-sign.

New players tigers have been in discussions with are Albert vete from the warriors and whare from Penrith. But I'm sure to hear more in the coming weeks about other players which I'll update in this thread.
I'm also hearing idris and kavin naq won't be on the books next year.
Is this like how you revealed that Braith Anasta after a Friday night game was involved in a match fixing scam when he played for the WT's ??
How did that go SG , Anasta get banned for life like Simona was
Or how you took a job at the Cowboys or was leaving the WT's ??
PS Say g'day to Robbie for us , wish him God's speed with his back injury
What's the problem with the information SG is providing? You either believe it or you don't. Recently you were going to shove Matt Ballin down my throat but has Matty done anything of note on the field to warrant an extension by Ivan?

@ said:Chris Lawrence was the best centre to ever play for the Wests Tigers, it is true that he still had the majority of his speed post the hip dislocation but he then continued to tear his hamstring which was related to the hip injury. His dislocation was horrific and took a long time to be put back into place. I also suspect that his dislocation resulted in Hip Osteonecrosis (Femoral Head Bone Death). Chris deserves a lot more respect than he receives on this forum, he suffered this injury playing for our team, it wasn't his fault he had recently signed a very lucrative contract, a contract that he fully deserved for the level of player he was. He in recent years renegotiated that deal to a much more team friendly deal, he didn't have to do that, he could have taken the money owed to him. Do you think many of our other players would have done that?

Do u think 800k a season is overs? I do. But there's not many other options available outside of Foran. Moses is in a good position for a pay day with WT. not sure his value is worth that outside of WT though.

Fulton, Farah, Marshall all had changes to their contracts to help the team. The same fate awaits Lawrence imo.

Yes they all did, I actually meant do you think our current players would do that? I think that is one thing that our current roster lacks, that willingness to sacrifice for the betterment of the team.
@ said:Thanks SG for your info. As for me I am more than happy to have Brooks and Teddy although with our forward strength so low it would seem strange to let our best forward go, although I guess we have some good young front rowers on our books and Woods asking price could buy you two decent forwards.
With Moses I am not sure, last year when he was on fire he looked very good, but we have not even had a glimpse of that sort of form this year. His asking price is way over the odds so I probably would let him walk and direct that money at two new faces. Anyway one thing is for sure if he does take up a offer elsewhere I would play him in reggies for the rest of the year

Sure not everything is correct, that's the dynamic nature of contracts and footy clubs….things change. I'll tell you what reading this post beats the data less drivel served up by some here.

They are most probably jealous that they don't know what's going on behind the scenes.

He's been our best bar Teddy for the last two years really, surely he's earned his money and doesn't need too much bargaining power?
