Reports on the radio this morning that Brooks will re-sign for 2 years at 550k. 550 is definitely reduced as i believe he is on around about 650 ATM. Looks like you might be 1 from 1 here SG. Next stop Tedesco please.

At 550k i have no problem with the extension.He is still young and with Cleary as coach he may be allowed to play his natural game.

Brooks is a team player and I think criticism of his motivation is well wide of the mark. Keep improving son.

What's the problem with the information SG is providing? You either believe it or you don't. Recently you were going to shove Matt Ballin down my throat but has Matty done anything of note on the field to warrant an extension by Ivan?

I'd hate to be in Ivan's shoes if he happens to re-sign all 4 TT…

I don't think that's gonna be an issue fwiw. WT will keep 2 maybe 3\. From what I've heard Cleary isn't going to put that much of the cap in those 4 that has been reported. And all will be coming off contract at different times as well. It looks like they will give teddy what he wants and to some degree Moses as well. Woods and brooks will have to accept less dollars to what they were offered last year to stay now.

You were exactly right re Brooks taking less money Smoking Gun. Apparently he wanted 600 and we gave him 550K. Really appreciate the inside info, keep it coming.

Haven't had any since Tiger Torch.
 
Gotta hand it to smoking gun… he is spot on with the Brooks and Tedesco situation.... can we all thank him and give him the respect he deserves and not drive him away like we did to the others....
 
Guys I'm not interested in having arguments and being abused on here for just passing on the info I was provided. So looks like brooks has accepted the lesser deal as I was told. Good to see. Value signing for you guys at that price but also leaves the door open for Nathan Cleary signing now as well.

SG how confident are you teddy will re-sign?…and what do you think Woods and Moses will end up doing?...and thank you for posting on here...as you know we are all die hard WT supporters with a common goal and that is to see our Club win games and play well...we all have opinions which is great, but we should always respect other peoples opinions and input no matter what we think about it.

Well hopefully we can get Cronk for 2 years (end of 2019) and sign Nathan Cleary who comes off contract at the end of 2019\. (In the perfect world)

Or SG do you think we could get Nathan C earlier than his contract?
 
There's 2 options for Tedesco at WT. he has an offer of close to 1 million per season but the length of contract is the stalling point. So they can either give the extra 2 seasons or have to bump his pay up to around the 1.1 million a season on the current deal offered.

If I was a tigers fan I'd be pretty confident he will stay and a deal will be struck very soon.

I think the dogs or eels will most likely get Cronk. As for NC, who knows. But I think it's a viable option that the Tigers will sign him and only offering brooks the 2 years suggests that's the plan atleast.
