Out at Penrith today and the Panthers reckon Cleary is not their coach it’s dead in the water because of Gus leaking the fact Griffin was sacked because Cleary agreed to come to Penrith. They also confirmed Nathan has made zero decision and hasn’t even sat down with the club as yet. It sounds like he was enticed and saw a way out but realised the damage it was doing to his family.
I suspect we have it all wrong including myself. He may not go anywhere and may sign an extension if offered he loves the Tigers.

He was filthy at Panthers dirty tactics with the media. He told me everything leaked has come from the Panthers to destabilise our finals charge and make us less attractive to a certain young player.

Well if this is true then Ivan would be mad to go there and the "certain young player" would have rocks in his head to re-sign with them.

I get not all of us see every press beat up and interview that happens but the “final word” interview he gave before the raiders game he said he had a contract with the tigers and was going to honour that contract.
Take it for what you will formerguest.
I’d suggest you go back and check out for yourself, from my recollection that was the words he chose to use on that day.

That’s my take as well. Wait and see what happens I don’t really care too much either way we need players. Coaches are less important Maguire is just as good maybe better.

I dont see what people are stressing about

I am squarely on the fence as to whether he stays or goes, be it with or without his son, so ambivalent as to what may occur, as most of the damage has already been done. Though certainly not happy that Cleary had "discussions", his words, rather than a single discussion with Penrith and the subsequent effects of those discussions on our club, have many, for want of a better word, stressed.

Things are still haemorrhaging somewhat regarding WT, as can be seen by the discussions on here and the continuing media coverage, with recruitment likely adversely affected, because the matter has not been put to bed. If there was nothing going on, I wanted Ivan to stop the rot days before his statement and because of the lack of certainty therein, along with blocking of questioning since, the decay continues to this day

I want an unequivocal statement to end the conjecture and not just for me, the countless others, else Ivan peeing off asap to let the club and us get on with things, putting an end to the circus. However things end up, it should have been handled a lot better for mine and the club is not immune.

Thanks mate, whilst I haven't bagged Cleary I have been left feeling less than confident with his words and actions.

You do realise TYGA is anonymous and his/her unsubstantiated claims are aguably less valuable that Cleary's actual public comments.

No offence TYGA but some people are so easily swayed. "I think Ivan is leaving because of his body language", then "well it might end up being ok because TYGA said so".
