Weeks and weeks and weeks ago when I said on here Ryan Matterson will come to the Tigers well the person who told me that said that Shane Flanagan will coach Penrith in 2019 on a 4 year contract the person is right about 65 percent of the time

That's interesting, I wonder who will take over at Cronulla if true?

More importantly, will his son go over as well to play 7? Intriguing the possibilities.

That would be quite a bit of travel time for flanno.

Things would have to be very bad at sharks for that to happen.

Things would have to be very bad at sharks for that to happen.

Brief mention on NRL 360 this week that Flannagan is under pressure at Sharks and may be forced out.

I wouldn't read too much into Ivan's failure to give any public assurances about his future, outside of the Statement he already made previously.

My take is that he is just being a dad … if he confirms he is definitely staying at the Tigers then the media circus automatically turns back to Nathan, with everyone hounding him about his future plans.

With a finals series about to start, he doesn't need the added pressure, which i'm sure Ivan is willing to cop if it keeps his boy out of the spotlight.

Just my take on it anyway ... time will reveal all.

On one of the rumour sites said Flanagan to Panthers & Barrett to Sharks.

Why is Flanagan on the out at Cronulla? He must be upsetting a few (or is it due to more sinister reasons like cap rorting) because the Sharks are hardly struggling under him atm.

In other news - can't stand Flanno as a rugby league personality, with his constant moaning and permanent sneer. He can get lost for all I care, head out towards Penrith and just keep going.
