Joey is still employed by Newie as their halves whisperer. He spoke as recently as yesterday about how he has been working with Ponga helping him transition to 5/8 and how he looks forward to working with Jackson.Wonder if that now that we've strengthened the forward pack, if Joey might be willing risk his reputation as a halves whisperer and come on board for some training at our club? I can see why he would not have been too keen before - halves without time and space are on a hiding to nothing. He worked with Moses at Parra for a while and that seemed to go well.
Unfortunate it didn't work out.Sheens playing someone out of position … who would have thought 🤣🤣🤣
Another magnificently brave keyboard warrior- wouldn't dare say that to his face.
That person doesn't deserve to be on social media.
i would've exposed his ass
It’s Sheens spoon. Maguire is a fiercely competitive sob and would not have allowed it.Was a key member of our team, the same team that won the wooden spoon.
I hope he achieves the same at Newcastle.
i wish him all the best.

That's stretching a long bow imo... Another case of 2+2=7“As a club we are obviously not satisfied that we finished last in 2022 and tough decisions need to be made," said Tigers boss Justin Pascoe.
Not everyone will be happy with some decisions we make, but we do not apologise for these decisions.”
That sounds pretty close to linking the spoon with Hastings’ performances this season, which I don’t know if it’s deliberate or not but I would sure be stung by it.
That's funny because Jacko being likeable or not, his Efforts contributed massively to the FEW games Tigers did win.
Hoping the same for all his underperforming teammates then? Was a key member of our team, the same team that won the wooden spoon.
I hope he achieves the same at Newcastle.

hope you've been keeping well,
exciting times around the corner
I think that’s a matter of interpretation. I see your point but don’t necessarily agree they’re linked. That's stretching a long bow imo... Another case of 2+2=7
I agree. The only thing they've said is Tigers came last and tough changes are necessary to address that. That's stretching a long bow imo... Another case of 2+2=7
Not sure how a strong pack is going to stop him kicking over the dead ball line. The last time Brooks worked behind anything which resembled a decent pack, he was awarded DallyM half.
Then you obviously havent played. Not sure how a strong pack is going to stop him kicking over the dead ball line.
