Jacob Miller

TBH I wouldnt be surprised if he heads back to the Roosters… With Anasta leaving, they're in need of a half and Miller is still very close with some of the Roosters juniors from his time there.

The Tigers V Raiders Toyota Cup yesterday was the first game I have seen in 2012 and I thought Miller was by far the best player on the field.

If we don't re-sign him then some club will no doubt be getting a future 1st grade star and it will be the Tigers loss!

Jacob Miller is an NRL star in the making. Young is Sirro is as well and young Sirro is the better fit for our first grade side at the moment, but there are no ifs and buts about it, Jacob Miller is an exceptional talent and i`d be doing my very best to hold onto him if possible.
Our U/20` would have got flogged my the Cowboys if it was not for Miller and he was a stand out man of the match against the Raiders.

Can't see how we can keep Marshall Sironen Anasta Moltzen and Miller all on our books. Sironen has made a bigger impact in 1 1/4 games than Miller has in a handful. I'm happy to run with Sheenius on this one.

Based on the last few games, there is no way Marshall should go back to 5/8.
He is killing it at 7\. His game against the raiders was the best halfbacks game I have seen for Wests Tigers.

Can't see Miller in the picture now unless he plays 5/8\. Not going to happen though with Sironen and Anasta in the starting side next year.

I look at it this way, Benji and young Sirro have the makings of a perfect combination as one is flashy, the other plays more direct and uses his size to advantage. If Benji is out injured, I can`t see a combination of Anasta and young Sirro in the halves working so well as they both lack genuine speed. I`d like to hold onto Miller for that reason, BUT if we do lose Miller, young Mitchell Moses looks like another off the production line who could very well rise rapidly through the ranks and he does have genuine speed.

No matter how good they are, their has to be a position in the top grade that they have a realistic shot at, and Sheens has shown his hand who will be no7 from now on. You cant keep them all and he will not be the only good player who walks out the door at the end of the season looking for a better chance at a NRL gig

Moses, Brooks, Rudolph, Marshall-King… We have decent halves lined up around the Block!!
Milky was never gonna be in Front of Siro at WT's and rightly so from what I've seen so far...
Both however, Deserve a shot at the Big time... If Milky has a genuine offer, I can't see WT's holding him back.
Brooks could fill his spot in NYC

Miller has had 3,4 or 5 starts in FG. He did not show he is NRL standard during these games. In 1 anda bit games sirro has shown much more promise… Just look at the press he is getting.

It has been said a million times, when given the no7 role in FG he only ever got the jumper,he was never given the 7 role to play so you cant ever say he was not good enough or did not stamp himself on the game. He was simply their to play a link man

Am a big fan of his, if he is not at the tigers next year i hope he can reach his potential, he has all the tools just needs to work on his defence.

He's played in 5 NRL games now and I haven't seen much to justify the considerable wraps put on him. Maybe it's because he wasn't ready, maybe it's because he didn't have a suitable role but to me he just didn't look the part. It's okay to say he was just a link man but he could and did take the line on a few times with minimal effect.

I'm not saying the kid can't play and as I've said before, very few HBs play regular NRL before their 20s. There's every chance he'll come good and be a top player. If Sheens has him earmarked for a future role he needs to have that chat with JM. If JM can't or won't wait for a regular spot that's his call. We can't pick a bloke for first grade just to stop him switching clubs though.

I see him wearing Red and White next year if Soward goes to England or Hornsby is asked to retire.

I think this is all but confirmed. I ve heard from multiple sources he is the one to fill hornby's role, good fit really.

Reading on another forum that Jacob Miller is unhappy with his role at the Tigers and is seeking a release to join the Dragons, apparently he is a little miffed that young Sirro is ahead of him in the pecking order.

Which forum?
