LOL at all our fans

Just like Tede$co

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=VLaScTPAb54

You know the family or have some personal connection to Tedesco. I don't. Clearly we have different perspectives on it for this reason. Your emotional connection is with him. All I have is my passion for the club and sure, I know my words are extremely vindictive. But James is paid very, very handsomely for his efforts on the field. That is a product of the passion of the fans. That passion cuts both ways. He has to be a big boy and accept that people are going to be very upset at the decision. It won't go beyond a few nasty words written on the internet.

Again Timmy for about the 15th time today I don't care they have left

The issue is why these players are leaving

You blame the players because you don't know the half of it

I blame the club because of all the stuff I have heard

More money on the table , 2nd best player welfare scheme and players are still walking

They are sick of getting dragged into the turmoil week after week , year after year

Do you blame them

Maybe if the players aimed up and were winning consistently their would be less drama around the club as well. Cuts both ways

Yeah sure Tedesco doesn't aim up most weeks

Again we have a really crap squad can anyone deny this

And it just got far worse

Tedesco had a great game in round 1, not much since… All 4 are playing poorly this year. Nofo has been a stand out, to me he is just as much of a priority as Ted...

Sign the coach, work out a plan for the rest of the year, offer contracts to those the coach wants and get on with building the rest of the team.

We are coming last... If they want to go, let them go, pretty sure they are all replaceable...

Yeah,Tedesco & Woods are probably at their peaks at the moment but i don't think either are playing their hearts out so far this Season but that may change now the pressure is off and they are moving on.
I think Moses and to a lesser extent Brooks may still turn into Champions instead of Journeyman 1st graders.

I don't really understand this need you have to staunchly defend Tedesco.

In their hearts very few supporters would argue that Tedesco is a bad person for moving over to the Roosters (or Dogs). However, people are emotionally invested in Tedesco remaining at the Tigers. His decision to leave hurts and people will criticise it - even if it was rational, as it no doubt was in Tedesco's eyes. Why can't you accept that? Why put up post after post bagging the club to its supporters. You won't change people's minds. Have a bit of understanding of human behaviour and motivation.

Think about it guys

The day Taylor got punted, the pressure turned to Des at the Dogs on the same day who said don't worry players are on the way and Des added a 2 year extension on his contract a few days later, what he meant by all that was Woods and Tedesco was going to the Dogs along with Foran, so this means they had alright made up their minds way before Taylor got the sack, so we know that these two grubs were going all along but dragging it out and causing chaos at the club

I know which of the two is more likely to succeed and if you think its the club you need to see my psychologist

Yeah, it just got worse. The thing is, it had to in order for (hopefully), it to get better. Too much cap space tied up in 4 players (5 if you count Robbie) and not enough for the rest of the squad to bring it up to par. So now we start … AGAIN ... but this time with enough in the bank to build a decent squad over the next 2 years. Am I disappointed at the outcome of the negotiations with Woods, Tedesco et al? Yes and No. Hate to see Tedesco walk - he is a great player. Sorry to see Woods walk, but not for the money he was after. But looking forward to a genuine make over.
I don't know what is going on behind the scenes that makes these guys want to move elsewhere. But by the same token, you see comments form players like Nofa, ET etc who seem genuinely happy to be at the club. I guess you can't please everyone. Let's hope that the issues that have caused player unrest in the first instance are being resolved under the new management.
To be honest, I think the guys coming in to the club now, are going to better off not having had to go through the dramas of the Taylor/Farah saga.

Dont think anyone can have a go at Tedesco for not digging in, he was very reliable when he wasn't injured.

Its a pity we couldn't hold onto him, players and club will move on and eventually supporters will when the emotion dies down.

This flaming bus that everyone's on needs to be used as a battering ram to get us into Concord and start weeding out all the incompetent fools that we have total faith in

I needed a laugh tonight Happy haha. All aboard!!!

The club stuffed up in the past mate. They stuffed players around…the new admin has offered them more cash then anyone and shown them the future. They had a choice. The boys are obviously over it and know they can compete straight away for premierships with the Roosters/Dogs. Not much could be done.

The cash we'll save will allow us a better balance across the team instead of huge sums of money/overs to be spent on individuals.

It hurts now, but we'll be right.

Mate more than anything it upsets me that Forum members and WT's fan in general aren't up in arms about this

How loyal fans can still sit back and cop this from our club and not want to turn this club upside down and rebuild it PROPERLY like should have happened from the start

The club still doesn't realize that if you don't have proven player talent you don't win premierships or even make the semis

Why do people think clubs like the Dogs and the Roosters do everything they can to secure top players as well as top coaches ??

I'm absolutely furious about this

3 Finals appearances in 18 years (yes this one is included , trust me )

Hey happy
I hear you, i am so peeved about losing teddy in particular
He was going to be tigers marquee player for sponsors advertising etc etc
Teddy leaving is the exclamation mark on where the weststigers are at. We are merely a feeder club to the "big boys" of the nrl
Honestly wish the club was in private ownership
Forget about developing junior talent, cut the campbelltown / balmain juniors cord and relocate to central coast.
We can never compete the current nrl competition where the mighty few teams habe an unbelievable advantage over the rest of thevteams that make up the numbers
I think there a couple of positives, the tigers brand, an impressive coach (imo) and a handful of first grade players but thats about it

Never ever thought teddy would leave. I'm still hoping rottfield has got bad info

Is this the same Buzz Rothfield that guaranteed 1000% that Mitchell Moses would be playing for the Eels this weekend after speaking with Isaac Moses..?

Yep that's the one

Still holding onto a bit of hope

Geez guys take a breather, getting worked up over 2 players…

We don't need to be held to ransom and pay overs, these 4 collectively haven't taken us to great Heights, so why stress. Teddy will be a loss no doubt but at the same time can be a risk signing as he has been on the sidelines a good percentage of his Career with us.

Cleary came in identified the overs we were going to pay for Moses and acted on it. We need a team of solid 1st Graders.
It's not the end of the World, the Club is acting on these muppets that think there Immortals.

Except every media outlet is reporting it, not just Buzz. Plus its all over Twitter. Plus our club's statement yesterday. They're gone, time to accept reality.

Yep my question is whether it's to the Roosters or Dogs. I was reliably informed as of 830 this morning, Teddy had not signed with the Roosters….yet.

Agreed Steve, the negativity on here is crazy. Tedesco leaving is especially disappointing but life goes on, can't do anything about their departures now.

My wife's best friend got scans yesterday to confirm whether she has ovarian cancer or not. Reality check people!

Happy,I agree with everything that you're saying.
I've been saying that the club was the worst run club in the game for the last few yrs.
But got howled down.
I have no problems with Moses going . But to lose our one genuine star is a joke.
The club has been allowed to be run into the ground for so long, that their is no respect from anyone, players, (both here and outside the club, ). agents, the NRL and most supporters from other teams.
Id say that the players leaving, have no confidence at all that the club will be able to get the amount of GOOD players needed to make us even a reasonable chance
of being competitive, Except in a few games per season, and hardly ever against Quality teams when we need to be.
Why should they believe a word that the club says?
I don't think that just the money is the problem, it's more the lack of confidence that there is about the whole club in all areas. When players go and see the facilities that other clubs have, including the treatment for injuries, etc, no one should complain when they leave this shipwreck, and go to an up to date club. Good facilities can prolong players playing years.

The club itself has a lot to be learnt about how to develop young players , but Cleary should help there.
Bringing up young kids before they are readyboth mentally and physically is fraught with danger. One of which is the attitude that Moses has now.
The situation here has been brewing fora lot more than just since the start of this season, but
There's a lot here who think the players are the sole problem.
They're Dreaming.

Players can prolong their careers

thats the truth.

it has been the truth for a very long time, regardless of whos side anyone sits on or who wants to blame who…...
