I would honestly **sit both players out for the rest of the season starting this week**. Don't even let them play reserve grade.

Name them 18th and 19th men every week from now until the end of the season.

Lets see how their origin chances go after that.

I wonder how many steps backwards Woods would take.

Probably wouldn't make a difference for Tedesco. The bloke is a freak. But make a statement.

Stand up for the club, the remaining players and the fans.

We deserve better.

But don't we deserve to see our best team on the paddock every week?
We have nothing to gain from dropping them or letting them go early. Absolutely nothing.

I wouldn't drop them but I'd be looking to **move them to their new teams early to leverage some players in return**

Send Tedesco to roosters now and get Mitchell or Watson in return or both.

Send woods now for kasiano and Hopoate

I'd keep Moses because parra have nothing of value to Tigers off contract

What they said^

1, What chance our season when these three have already written the team off? In a sense, like Simona, they're betting against us or at least couldn't give a rats. They are no longer part of our "best team", they've clocked off. Get them off the paddock so at least its worth watching games this season.

2, Get replacements on the paddock ASAP to start the new ball rolling

It's not Fantasy League where you hit the trade rage button and players magically change teams…

Golly Gosh!

And that's where Aussie sports are well behind when it comes to this. If this was NBA or NFL it would be done in a few days. Something NRL and RLPA should consider in the future

You would be surprised what players can do when asked to take on more responsibility

I've been saying this for the last week

I'd guess we'd be in breach of contract

Why would we be in breach of contract.
Sitting players out for the season sauce they are leaving your club has been done in the past.
Tallis is an example

I can't imagine a contract would state that they must play first grade. What if they weren't playing in form? It would be always up to the discretion of the coach.

I was replying to the suggestion of not allowing them to play at all…that wouldn't look really good in the media
Wouldn't impress our sponsors either
Wed be in breach of contract

A whisper that the Rorters have hit a little snag in their offer to Teddy with the NRL knocking back a 'Non-affiliated' TPA..meaning they will have to carry more under the Cap for him..

Unca Nick will not be happy…Isaac Moses is not his favourite guy...just lucky it's not about the money..

If this turns out to be true I'll be high fiving strangers with glee.

Can someone post the article in telegraph this morning about Tedesco and his grub mates!,it is the biggest load of garbage I have read ….am seething!

Wests Tigers star James Tedesco sacrificed up to $700,000 to join the Sydney Roosters

DEAN RITCHIE, The Sunday Telegraph
April 23, 2017 6:00am

WESTS Tigers star James Tedesco sacrificed up to $700,000 to join the Sydney Roosters — because he “wants to be the best.”

The Sunday Telegraph can reveal the Roosters’ offer to Tedesco was actually third-best behind Wests Tigers and Canterbury.

Yet Roosters supremo Nick Politis and coach Trent Robinson still got their man.

A desire to play at the powerful Roosters and to “better himself” drove Tedesco — the incumbent NSW fullback — to a new four-year deal at Bondi.

KENT: COFFEE DATE UNDERLINES TIGERS’ TROUBLES

Close friends to Tedesco claim the fullback has never been driven by money and his family are financially well-off through property development and investments in Sydney’s west.

“Wests Tigers could have offered him $2m a season and he wouldn’t have stayed,” said a close friend of Tedesco.

“James always wanted to go to the Roosters. The Roosters were the lowest offer. It had nothing to do with money — he wants to go there to better himself, to be a better footballer.

“He has this drive to be the best. He just wants to be the best.

“That’s why he is going there. It has nothing to do with money. People make it about money. James doesn’t live by pay cheques. It has to do with how the place is run and how he could better himself.

“When he reneged on Canberra (in 2014), he was told things would improve at Wests Tigers. He should have gone to Canberra.”

NRL TRIPLE SIGNING WINNERS AND LOSERS

The Sunday Telegraph can also reveal:

* Tedesco, Aaron Woods and Mitch Moses were almost certain to re-sign with Wests Tigers six weeks ago until the club sacked life coach Joe Wehbe, who has significant influence over a number of star players.

* Tedesco never signed with Canterbury.

“You have to ask why your captain and best player want to leave?” a friend close to the pair said.

“All of them were set to re-sign before the Wehbe drama blew-up. They were all set to sign. How could you stuff it up? All four would have stayed.

“All Wests Tigers had to do was keep Wehbe. They could have signed and gotten rid of him later. But once they got rid of him, that was it.

“That turned everything. ‘Woodsy’ is very tight with him.”

BLAME CLUB, NOT THE PLAYERS

Tedesco was most impressed with Bulldogs coach Des Hasler during negotiations but eventually shifted to the Roosters.

Another source said: “He never backflipped on Canterbury because he never signed there.”

Tedesco has agreed to terms with the Roosters.

There is no doubt Tedesco will flourish at Bondi playing alongside Mitch Pearce, Luke Keary, Michael Gordon, Latrell Mitchell and Blake Ferguson.

Roosters legend and club official Anthony Minichiello will also mentor Tedesco, the pair friends from playing with Italy.

There is continuing speculation that the Roosters may though have to offload Shaun Kenny-Dowall, possibly to Newcastle, to accommodate Tedesco.
