Heard on Saturday from a reasonably reliable source(about 50 %) that Ava will be the next to go.
Kevvie and Grant are just trying to get the club to up their contracts.and who cares anyway.
But Ava wants out .

I wouldnt offer Kevie a contract to save my life perhaps Grant but certainly not for more money

Lol tim grant thinking he has any leverage is laughable only getting a gig because there's literally no depth at prop at Wests Tigers.

That DT article is such crap. Bulldog Ritchie really does resort to posting nonsense these days, he used to be alright. He's been sidelined with the increase of social media, now he's reduced to quoting "friends of friends".

It would be like ringing up Mrs Gordon and running an article about how Tigers are a basketcase club because they didn't put Yileen in first grade. Not only are you not naming the source, friends say anything to spin a story.

Tedesco isn't going to enjoy football alongside Michael Gordon, he's going to push Gordon out. Blake Ferguson and Latrell Mitchell? Good odds of being forced out as well. How does he like playing with Tupou and SKD? When you cost a fortune you can't expect the rest of your backline to be full of superstars.

And then all this nonsense with Webhe. Firstly he wasn't on the books at the Tigers, he could not have been sacked.

Secondly the "friend" suggests all Tigers had to do was sign Webhe then sign Big 4, then sack Webhe. So sacking Webhe was apparently enough to upset these players to leave, but signing him then sacking him would have been cool? Rubbish.

Thirdly is Webhe on the books or a consultant at Roosters and Dogs? Is he part of the package? Hard to get upset if a bloke is not employed by Tigers but also not employed by your new club.

Fourthly, any player who wants to try and get their friend / head shrink / mentor onto the club books can go to hell; take what we have or sort it out on your own time. I mean Tedesco "is not about money, he doesn't live by each paycheck, his family are independently doing well" - so go see your brain coach on your own money and time you peanut.

“All of them were set to re-sign before the Wehbe drama blew-up. They were all set to sign. How could you stuff it up? All four would have stayed.

“All Wests Tigers had to do was keep Wehbe. They could have signed and gotten rid of him later. But once they got rid of him, that was it.

“That turned everything. ‘Woodsy’ is very tight with him.”

This sums it all up for me. Spoilt little brats.

Excellent deconstruction of the article - the tide will shift soon enough with this media circus.

So Teddy always wanted to go to the Roosters, yet if we signed the horse whisperer he would have stayed. Hmm

And he would have been ok with the tigers then sacking Wehbe….

Surely at some point the media is going to turn on these guys. I mean we read that and can see what crap it is.

WESTS Tigers star James Tedesco sacrificed up to $700,000 to join the Sydney Roosters — because he “wants to be the best.”

right, I don't know what that means. The Roosters finished 15th last year, but still, if you're going to say they have a better roster to achieve this, then how can he be "the best" when he will only be as good as the other players around him? Surely if he wants to be "the best" that's something he needs to do to stand out on his own?

A desire to play at the powerful Roosters and to “better himself” drove Tedesco — the incumbent NSW fullback — to a new four-year deal at Bondi.

Powerful? rorting would be more accurate, let's get real. If the NRL gave a toss and stopped a lot of the shoddy deal making, things would be different. In any event, he managed to get the Blues fullback spot with us, so why does he need the Roosters again?

Close friends to Tedesco claim the fullback has never been driven by money and his family are financially well-off through property development and investments in Sydney’s west.

where the article falls apart….......oh I see "a close friend" said all this, uhuh

“Wests Tigers could have offered him $2m a season and he wouldn’t have stayed,” said a close friend of Tedesco.
>
“James always wanted to go to the Roosters. The Roosters were the lowest offer. It had nothing to do with money — he wants to go there to better himself, to be a better footballer.
>
“He has this drive to be the best. He just wants to be the best.
>
“That’s why he is going there. It has nothing to do with money. People make it about money. James doesn’t live by pay cheques. It has to do with how the place is run and how he could better himself.
>
“When he reneged on Canberra (in 2014), he was told things would improve at Wests Tigers. He should have gone to Canberra.”

and yet, later on this is stated

* Tedesco, Aaron Woods and Mitch Moses were almost certain to re-sign with Wests Tigers six weeks ago until the club sacked life coach Joe Wehbe, who has significant influence over a number of star players.

That just doesn't track, so is Wehbe going to be at the Roosters? or did he need this Wehbe to be at the Tigers to stay? Again I ask, how can you be the best if you need all this help? and this Wehbe, it all sounds very cultish.

“You have to ask why your captain and best player want to leave?” a friend close to the pair said.
>
“All of them were set to re-sign before the Wehbe drama blew-up. They were all set to sign. How could you stuff it up? All four would have stayed.
>

BLAME CLUB, NOT THE PLAYERS

oh I see, so we should have kept walking down the road of the players dictating to the club? because that's worked out really well for us right? right?

There is no doubt Tedesco will flourish at Bondi playing alongside Mitch Pearce, Luke Keary, Michael Gordon, Latrell Mitchell and Blake Ferguson.

yeah just as long as Teddy doesn't have any pets for Pearce to get his hands on

Own up and be a man and say sorry guys I am moving on. They are embarrassing themselves. They fired him, they didnt hire him, grow up and just be a man.

Yeh the article seemed all over the shop.

If Teddy never intended to sign with us, but stringed us along for 12 weeks, then I would tell him to go jump in a lake. What a grubby young man, if true.

This "friend" certainly didnt do Teddy any favour with these comments.

And according to the article, WTs could have offered Tedesco $2m a season and he wouldn't have stayed anyway!

No the media will not turn on them. They have signed with the Dogs and Roosters who push the anti-NRL clubs should be running game agenda through the same publications.

And it also said he only left cos the horse whisperer didn't get a job.

After reading that pile of manure it looks like Murdoch is trying to get a monopoly on the media and the fertilizer industry

A whisper that the Rorters have hit a little snag in their offer to Teddy with the NRL knocking back a 'Non-affiliated' TPA..meaning they will have to carry more under the Cap for him..

Unca Nick will not be happy…Isaac Moses is not his favourite guy...just lucky it's not about the money..

Looks like the Roosters have sorted the problem out. The Sunday Telegraph is reporting this morning that
Tedesco has taken a $700K pay cut to go to team like Roosters. The article also reports "that it is not about the money it is about the glory". All I know is that Rooster have a "glorious" accountant and the NRL has some very dumb CAP and TPA auditors. Oh well, "money speaks all languages".

Is it possible to hate the Roosters and Dogs anymore than I do now?…...................................................Yeah bloody oath it is.

That blows your Taylor sacking theory or of the water

Not really. At least one of those above reasons is wrong. Wouldn't surprise me if they both are.
