James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

I'm no media guru, but what possible benefit is there to air your grievances on air? It's only making themselves look like fools, and ticking everyone off in the process.

At least M.Moses is keeping his trap shut…for now

They're not the smartest bunch of players. As much of a hot head Mitchell is on the field, he definitely has the most going between the ears out of the four. He's also aware that rugby league is small community and anything can happen in the future. Essentially he's not short sighted and knows not to burn his bridges. Even if he was a major contributor to this whole debacle…

Seriously, Cleary should just punt all 3\. Who cares if we end up with the spoon, it's not like Cleary is being judged on this year anyway. I'd happily take finishing 15th or 16th if it meant i didn't have to watch these grubs run around in first grade again.

I would love the club to do this.

Heard moses+ teddy's family are very well off so perhaps money didn't matter too much

This doesn't ring true to me. My parents and well off and I still have to go to work to feed my family.

Yep Tedesco had already signed on at least the 19th April a day before Cleary's deadline decision. The 10 business day cool off period backdated from yesterday's announcement means he signed on or before the 19th April. Claiming that he needed more time is total BS - Good riddance.

I was stating ages ago that the guy is just a piece of work. He was always going to try and screw us over. He will lie to justify his actions as well.

Agree I actually cut off Foxtel sports now, because of these 3 idiots, it ain't worth paying $30 a month to watch a bunch of drop kicks that don't wanna play for our club.

Thought you has taken the emotion out of these decisions,,

Not sure Corporate sponsors would feel the same way..The club has a responsibility to its stakeholders to field its best possible team…

Their actions on the field for the remainder of the season will be there for all to see..I'm glad Cleary is in charge ..not emotion..

The only upside for me is I've just read about 50 responses to Tepestco's interview and nobody fell for it. Everyone knows he is a cat and is using rubbish excuses for his cattishness.

You can't ask for an extension when you've already had months. The decision should not be that hard. If you only decide to stay after 5 months heavy deliberation, you are obviously not committed, part of the reason why this team has had such crap results in recent years, half-hearted commitment to the club, to the pressures in-game.

And i thought you were adamant months ago they would all re-sign. Opinions change.

Tedesco made his decision before that deadline. As my sources told me at the time, and which i posted, Tedesco had made his decision to go to the Roosters the Tuesday of the week that the Friday deadline was imposed. He had no intention of staying after that Tuesday and had already told most of the playing group, family and close friends he was leaving. He didn't formally inform the club at the time, but obviously they found out and is ultimately the reason they met with Isaac and Tedesco and imposed the deadline of Friday.

Anything you hear from here on out is just Tedesco and Isaac trying to repair Teddy's reputation. There is more behind his decision than he is leading on but he knows how it would make him and others look if he came out and said it…

I wish you would elaborate. This is the second time in the last month you've alluded to something else going down that contributed to all this. Any chance?

Don't want to go too far into it for certain reasons but the whole Joe Wehbe and Mitchell Moses saga have had a much bigger role than publicised. I would go as far as to say that those two and the management almost made the decision for Woods and Tedesco, which is ridiculous considering they are 26 and 24 year old men capable of making their own decision.

It was stupid in the first place. If the players wanted joe wehbe they can uss him for sure.. Out of there own pocket and outside training hours.. Whisperer.. What a toolm

Baze if that's true then they really are prima-donnas and I'm glad we're rid of that boys club!

There's a reason the Tigers were so quick to let M.Moses walk without much fuss. You may have also noticed that the club has been quick to defend Tedesco and Woods but havn't said anything when it comes to Moses. There's always more at play than money.

Side Note: Just for the record, i have no problem with Mitchell at all, in fact i actually think he's a good bloke. He's just more of an individual than the others and is looking out for himself. From everything iv'e heard and seen, Joe Wehbe and Isaac Moses are manipulators to the next level.

Moses has kept quite and has not dumped for one reason and one reason only….he wants a release and the club are the only ones who can grant that release

Mitch hasn't dumped on us publicly yet because he wants a release . I'm expecting an interview with Pooper once he's left the club .

thanks

I personally don't think he will. He values his reputation more than the others and has more self-awareness than the other two. Tedesco and Woods are not very bright, they're easily influenced by those around them and when they're made to look bad they get emotional and get defensive without realising they are making it worse for themselves.

Not to mention Tedesco and Woods were bagging the club publicly on NRL360 and radio respectively before they even signed for the Dogs and Roosters. M. Moses was quiet before and after he signed with Parra and made no comments about the club in the manner Woods and Tedesco did.

Isaac Moses is one of the most power player agents with many high profile clients (Cameron Smith, Israel Folau etc) and he is getting a bad rep from NRL Fans, yet he never shows himself publicly because he knows it will make it worse for him. Both Moses' are just keeping a low profile to protect themselves and letting the others take the heat.

This has probably already been stated, I'm not going to go back several pages to read everything but I need to get this off my chest.

- Teddy says he doesnt know how Cleary is as a coach, how does he know how Robinson is as a coach?
- Teddy says he needed more time to sign with the Tigers yet signs immediately with the Roosters?

You and your imbecile mate can play footy where you like but dont treat us like we haven't got a brain in our heads. Morrison, Woods and now Teddy can be claimed to be of the same ilk. Just waiting on the last piece to dump on us when he finally gets his release.

Im over this now and wont even click on any more threads that pertain to Woods, Tedesco or Moses.
