Yes, no one not even Teddy believed what was said in that interview. I personally can't wait for their eventual return to Leichhardt as a roooster, dog etc. He has made many "enemies" in both raiders and tigers fans now. I'm sure he'll do the same to the roosters when he comes up for his next contract.

Obviously hes blaming ivan to make it look like he was being pushed out. Hes was leaving either way, ivan was doing what was best for the team. If ivan waited for this prick we wouldnt have had the chance to sign lolohea and tedesco wouldve left anyways.

I know its been said already but why don't these players Man up and just say they prefer to sign elsewhere end of story, why justify their signing after all this time saying they were pushed for a decision by the new Coach. Well princess that's how it is in the big world of business , the Club does not need to revolve around the players , I wish someone in the media would ask them the question how much is a reasonable time for the Club to keep these negotiations on hold ?

Funny thing right, Tedesco admits now that Miniciello was heavily involved in getting him across to the Roosters. The Fox article notes that Tedesco lied about that all during the contract negotiation period.

So he clearly lies when it suits him to do so - it unravels everything he ever says. Oh so now he's telling the truth, before he wasn't, for whatever reason, but now he is.

These idiots don't realise that footy fans are not idiots. If you just came out and said "I have several offers and I want to ensure I give them adequate consideration", people can respect that. If he says "yeah I've talked to Miniciello, I have known him since the World Cup and we are friends, I talked to him about what life is like at the Roosters" - people can cop that too. All honest and fair, you are allowed to have friends in other places.

But to feed people lines, then reveal later that they were in fact lies to cover yourself - ZERO credibility.

So disappointed in these guys. Truly that's my biggest feeling now, not so much sad that they are doing, but disappointed in how badly they left.

There's a reason why Cleary pushed the deadline - because he saw through your charade and knew Tigers had to bring forward Plan B. If you are legit about re-signing, push from your end, make it happen. You've had all year Tedesco.
 
Cleary needs to do a Hasler and publicly state he won't be releasing any players for rep duties due to short turn arounds and looking after the players health and wellbeing
