He is just so bloody good…. It was like he'd never been away

I can still remember the comments in the last contract negotiations when some suggested Kurtis Rowe could be the next Tedesco

Kurtis is still wishing I'd suggest

That's because the guy is a freak.

True that. And our freak called Suli a freak. Good times ahead?!

I know that Geo isn't an oil painting but calling him a freak is below the belt

Nice to have some outside backs with some size again

Chooks call off the chase for Tedesco

By The MoleFebruary 19, 2017

I’VE got great news for Wests Tigers fans before a ball has been kicked in 2017.

I can reveal that the Roosters have decided to scrap their plans to make a massive bid for the Tigers’ match-winning fullback James Tedesco for 2018.

The Tigers were resigned to losing Tedesco to the Roosters, knowing they could never match the offer from the big-spending Bondi club.

Early last year, the Roosters identified the brilliant Tedesco as a potential target and were preparing to launch a huge bid to get him to change colours.

But since then, the Roosters have discovered boom youngster Latrell Mitchell, who played every game in his rookie season and looks a special talent at fullback.

Blake Ferguson has also developed into a more consistent player who can also handle fullback, while the club has signed specialist No.1 Michael Gordon.

The Roosters also did their sums and realised that it would probably take around $1.4 million a season to lure Tedesco to change colours – a large chunk of their salary cap.

I love how this Guy makes out he knows everything that is going on inside the clubs…what a *anker

Maybe some one from the NRL has told them there cap is not 15 million in 2018 , people may ask questions on how they can buy players , a little like the Gold Coast and the Broncos

the Roosters will always give it a good go though.
i think the Mole worked out most NRL sides can't fit four NRL quality fullbacks in..and on that basis wrote his Scoop.

Hilarious article… I do wonder though if Peter O'Sullivan was still at the Roosters he rarely missed out on his man?!

Didn't O'Sullivan get the sack…Wish we had him on board and his eye for stealing talent an balancing the Salary Cap..

What scoop, lets make up a story and then say it's not true is not a scoop. Tedesco said he hasn't spoken to the roosters. If he had any interest he would have at least met the coach.
Tedesco had no interest in going there or anywhere else. Will be signed up before the season starts.

Works for me! I'm looking forward to an announcement of that sort as much as I'm looking forward to the season starting.

I know Ali doesnt mean much to you guys, but I bloody hope he is right..

Expect the Wests Tigers to announce the re-signing of fullback James Tedesco to a new 4 year deal!!

You're just as well off asking your next bowel movement about Tedesco's contract as you are with an Ali rumour.

According to the QLD Sunday mail 2017 season guide, While many eyes will be on Idris, there will be plenty of attention on the Tigers ability to retain Woods, Brooks and Moses. Tedesco has just re-signed, but the other three are off-contract.

I think they might not be interested anymore because they cant fit Teddy and Moses. Id be surprised if Moses isnt well and truly on their radar, if not already a done deal.

And i hope I'm wrong….

I am fine with whatever happens Tedesco is the key signing if true. Moses is important as he will be great in the future. I couldn't be fussed with Woods and brooks tbh.
