I’VE got great news for Wests Tigers fans before a ball has been kicked in 2017.

I can reveal that the Roosters have decided to scrap their plans to make a massive bid for the Tigers’ match-winning fullback James Tedesco for 2018.
The Tigers were resigned to losing Tedesco to the Roosters, knowing they could never match the offer from the big-spending Bondi club.
Early last year, the Roosters identified the brilliant Tedesco as a potential target and were preparing to launch a huge bid to get him to change colours.
But since then, the Roosters have discovered boom youngster Latrell Mitchell, who played every game in his rookie season and looks a special talent at fullback.
Blake Ferguson has also developed into a more consistent player who can also handle fullback, while the club has signed specialist No.1 Michael Gordon.
The Roosters also did their sums and realised that it would probably take around $1.4 million a season to lure Tedesco to change colours – a large chunk of their salary cap.

the Roosters will always give it a good go though.
i think the Mole worked out most NRL sides can't fit four NRL quality fullbacks in..and on that basis wrote his Scoop.

What scoop, lets make up a story and then say it's not true is not a scoop. Tedesco said he hasn't spoken to the roosters. If he had any interest he would have at least met the coach.
Tedesco had no interest in going there or anywhere else. Will be signed up before the season starts.

Expect the Wests Tigers to announce the re-signing of fullback James Tedesco to a new 4 year deal!!
@ said:According to the QLD Sunday mail 2017 season guide, While many eyes will be on Idris, there will be plenty of attention on the Tigers ability to retain Woods, Brooks and Moses. Tedesco has just re-signed, but the other three are off-contract.
