Melbourne have done this for years, and when the player gets a bigger offer ala Widdop and now Green they just find another one, we have to be smarter with our cap, it is that simple.

If they're serious about staying they will. Tedesco has talked the talk about wanting to play with his mates and take a pay cut. The time is almost near where he needs to walk the walk.

I use to be very confident about retaining them - but not so much anymore. If the Roosters are serious about going after Teddy and Moses not sure there is much we can do to keep them other than over pay them - and not convinced that money is what motivates these two at this point in their careers.

Your 100% correct. If Tedesco znd Woods re-sign in the off season then they could put the pressure on the others to follow. Tedesco especially with his talk of building a dynasty and ensuring they all stay

However both Brooks and Moses have pretty much said they will leave it to their managers and to see how much they are worth. Which to me sounds like a long and draining process.

Yes looking forward to it. Someone said Pascoe was on an OS holiday, wasnt he on an OS holiday just recently when JAC signed with Melbourne. How many weeks AL do these guys get? I understand the players taking extended holidays to help their bodies recover, do the administrators get the same amount of time off.
