Hello,
Long time lurker, first time poster.
My Dogs supporting mate says Teddy has already signed with the dogs as has Woodsy. Don't care about Woodsy, but please tell me Teddy isn't true.
I've told my friend that Teddy wants to stay and that he'd choose the Roosters over the Bulldogs if he was to leave, but my friend is adamant it's a done deal.
Anybody have any inside word?
It is my experience that for every person that says "I have insider knowledge X is going to happen", there is someone else who has different inside knowledge that Y is going to happen.
What I really want to know is how the Bulldogs can clear the deck so quickly to mobilise offers to Woodesco (I've coined it), offers that have to be huge otherwise they'd stay with us.
According to zero tackle, not flawless, but the off-contract 2017 players are: Doolan, Elliott, Frawley, Garvey, Griffin, Holland, Hopoate, Lichaa, Phillips, Reynolds, Saunders, Stanley.
Bearing in mind you still need to field Top 30 and reserve grade, and with due respect to those players, but how on earth do they then afford Woodesco? The answer to me is they do no, they have to offload. And I haven't seen any offload deals, maybe they are triggered pending Woodesco signatures… but potentially such a risk, if they can't find suitors or they are paying massive subsidies to other clubs to take their footballers.
