James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

it happens in Baseball in the MLB, did you not know that?? lots of trades happen when teams give up and wanna tank, so they send their stars to other clubs for trades. so the teams having a good year would get even more better>

Loyally is out of the window now anyway so why not have it?? Players don't wanna be loyal to the club so why should the club be loyal to players?? If Tedesco thinks the roosters are a better richer club with better management and a better chance of winning then he can go now. same for Woods. then the roosters can pay off the rest of his contract and therefore if they want him so bad they can get rid of some of their younger players to us.

Mid season trades perfect. this is why the salary cap doesn't work in the NRL

I think you need to take a deep breath and have a lay down, you are starting to take this all very personally.

Well Unca Nick would want to be very very careful as Chairman of the Roosters any TPA arranged by him would come under the Salary Cap…I am sure the NRL would be scrutinising any such deal extremely closely...

I'm sure it will be organized by him. Paid by him. Than approved by the NRL.

I think the NRL turn a blind eye to certain clubs. Clubs like Broncos and Roosters seem to always have spare cash laying around for marquee players.

they both have drafts.
the trades are made to extract value from their assets that they feel are depreciating.
you want trades for spite.

You don't trade drafts in MLB.. you trade prospects which is exactly what could be done here, players off contract can be traded for lets say you can have Teddy Roosters but you have to give us 2 prospects in the under 20s

"The tigers are still my priority" - James Tedesco, April 2017

Pretty much everything he bagged the club about in that radio interview 'in his words' have been improved under Cleary so to lose him now would be shattering. A month ago you could understand him leaving but not now. I believe we hit rock bottom when Taylor was sacked and it's only going to get better from here on

This is an excerpt from Tedesco's latest discussion with the media only a couple of days ago;

APRIL 18, 20178:32AM

Tedesco is likely to be centre of attention in the lead up to the Tigers’ clash with Canterbury next Sunday — a club he admitted earlier this month he was “tempted” to join because of their superior off-field stability.

But he said on Monday he believed the Tigers had improved in that area already after the arrival of new coach Ivan Cleary. “Ivan has come in and just given us a game plan,” he said. “You can see the improvement we’ve had in the past few weeks and that’s positive for me, positive for the team that we’re going in a positive direction. “It’s good to have that. We haven’t had that before.”

That probably means heis leaning towards staying if they they need to chase up a TPA suddenly and Tedesco said it's not about the money and if he stands by that statement than a TPA from rorters shouldn't change his mind

They've never had a game plan before? I find that hard to believe.

What worries me the most are the comments from some of the staff (coaching/S&C?) saying that most players were doing PBs over the off season yet they fade in every game?

What's going on?

Tigers facilities are bad? who gives a toss. We dont have space age therapeutic recovery stations? no multimillion complex full of 3m mirrors so the players can look at themselves while they lift weights in aircon?

Go and train with billy johnson. Hel bring a pudhbike, tyres, ropes, sledgehammer, medicine balls, bricks and other cheap as dirt objects and get you lean, mean and ready to rip for a fraction of the price. Todays footballer are sooks sorry to say. Braith anasta ditching on the facilities haha . Bloke wouldnt even know what a gym was.

I love the comments about our facilities. It's a complete non issue for anyone who has a clue about training. I don't even have a clue and I know it's a non issue.

Dont kid yourself, its a big issue

Depends what they were doing PB's in. Might have got the balance wrong.
