Classic, bulldog is copping it on twitter for the article

Almost makes me want to join Twitter to take some pot shots at these flogs.

As someone who was knowledgeable on this situation (refer to previous posts) this is very, very disappointing and poor from Tedesco. Sending a "mate" to get his story out via the media. You all need to look at this for what it is. Tedesco on some level knows what he did was wrong, so he therefore feels the need to defend his actions. So he sends this mate to speak on his behalf so he can't be held accountable for the comments. He also does this in time for the Sunday paper (to engage the biggest audience possible).

"This is essentially saying, we we're going to stay but it's the clubs fault, don't blame us".

Very, very poor form from a club junior. If the reason he didn't re-sign is because of Joe, then why not sign elsewhere months ago when it happened? Why drag it out and mislead the club. I don't want to give away too much, for obvious reasons but they didn't leave the club because of Joe or because the Drama at the club etc. There were other reasons they left, which they need to put their hand up and own.

What a load of Rubbish from Tedesco…contradicts himself by saying he would not have stayed had we offered $2m, the breason he is leaving is to play in a winning team where he will flourish as a player, then to "backflip' that by saying had the "whisperer" stayed he would have signed...what a load of rubbish....

Hello Teddesco, you are the best FB in the game and you became this while playing for the WT....how much higher do you want to go?..

This has the sniff of an article written to get on the front foot to prevent reputational damage. If that is the intent, it has failed miserably and Tedesco's reputation has been further sullied.

If it is true that they all would have signed had 'Wehbe' not been told to bugger off, I want to give whoever made that decision a big kiss.

We are better of without them and this has been shown in the last few days what makes them really tick.

I think the club has not been in a better position to be honest, I dont see all the doom and gloom that the media is talking. But then again, they are puppets for the managers, grubs and those wishing to push their barrow.

I look at it like this. Everyone, in media and outside rate Cleary as a coach, no doubt about that. So if the club is such a basket case, and there is no doubt, no doubt whatsoever that Cleary would have done his due diligence…..why did he sign on as coach?

Like I said earlier, the losers are not Tigers fans the losers are the players themselves.

Their reputations have taken a hit and whether they admit it or not that will hurt them.

Even Fittler and Johns were having a go at them this morning.

A grub manager, a horse whisperer and a complete lack of class.

Goodbye and don't let the door hit you on the way out.

What a load of tripe from this guy, he's really digging the knife in now im guessing to leverage a move away early. Guess what James I wish you would leave too and take your other boofhead mates with you. Ive not seen our supporter base so united on anything we're all sick of this crap, when you look on social media the majority of supporters are with the club on this one. We will see the other side and move on and this will all be a distant memory.

Southern I only caught the end of it,

However Johns was saying he was really disappointed in Woods and he needs a massive game today.

Freddy has been critical in the past of players mentality at our club including Farah.

Fittler was highly critical of Woods' coffee shop meeting with Bulldogs players in the week before the game. I can't recall his exact words but highly unacceptable would probably cover it.

Paul Gallen had also offered the view the WTs would be in a better position to start with the salary cap available and good players on the market.

Heard on Saturday from a reasonably reliable source(about 50 %) that Ava will be the next to go.
Kevvie and Grant are just trying to get the club to up their contracts.and who cares anyway.
But Ava wants out .

I wouldnt offer Kevie a contract to save my life perhaps Grant but certainly not for more money

Lol tim grant thinking he has any leverage is laughable only getting a gig because there's literally no depth at prop at Wests Tigers.

Id say theyl be standing on a corner with their hands out.
i hope that the Ava tip is wrong though

This place is about as grown up as a year 1 KINDY class
Grow Up,
if you dont like them, Dont watch them play.
If you do like them , then enjoy watching them at their new club, and enjoy the football,
You will probably see some football from Teddy that he could never get the chance to produce here simply of the players around him,
as well . enjoy watching whoever takes their place here. Theyre going, no matter how many dummies you spit out , so make the most of it

Fittler said it was a disgrace and he could not stomach it regarding Woods having coffee with the Dogs players a week before we play them

Agree.
Decision made we have to move on, lets hope we learn from the last few years and transform this place into the right business model that enables success.

I'm shocked that players who barely rate as bench players at this stage suddenly think they are worth a massive pay increase.

Ava is in talks with the Storm, but that he wants out is wrong.

Im a big fan of Ava, I think he is our most effective prop. His metres arent massive but he sets up flow in our sets almost entirely the opposite to how Woods stifles it. His metres are a reflection of his game time, which is unfortunately due to the rotation being Woods centric.

Im probably Ava's biggest fanboy on here, but Smoking Gun can tell you that even though he is our best traditional prop, there are plenty of others out there who could be more cost effective and more than capable of replicating his output. I would like to see him stay, but Cleary seems more than capable of identifying not only talent at a respectable pricetag, but also compliments the rest of the squad. So if he is let go, I have more than enough faith its because we had identified another prospect in replacement. Really hope the big unit stays though, Storm arent known for throwing big dollars out there for pigs, so we should be able to match them.

"Wants to play for a successful club"

2 premierships since 1975
Missed the finals 7 times since 2005
Finished last and second last twice in last 7 years.

Sure they have had some good seasons that's because they make moves like they did getting Tedesco but there's a lot of dark times between the good as well there.

I'd still be happy to see him stay and my source is pretty that it was him that wanted out.still maybe you're right. Time will tell.
