James Tedesco Signs with Roosters [Official]

He's gone, just doesn't want to say anything for whatever reason.

Why would he dig himself a bigger hole reputation wise? He could have said 'i don't want to talk about it ' when asked about contracts.

Im starting to think he genuinely hasn't decided. Doesn't mean he'll be hear next year though.

It doesn't make sense to jump ship now. For the first time in their nrl career the club has signed a quality coach and will be free from the shackles of previous contract issues cone 2018 yet they don't want to hang around for a couple of years to give the new scenario a go.

I can't believe he said he's happy with how his manager is handling it! That was an act of idiocy from Moses to ignore the club and Teddy should be livid if he's true to his word and hasn't signed anywhere as yet. To draw this out the way it has gone…I hope for Teddy's sake it's not about money because I reckon he's cost himself money with this contract.

He can come back to us at some point in the future and re-sign with us. Personally I think he is full of crap. He put himself off twitter and Happy was stating how bad the club is as an excuse for Teddy's actions.

I reckon he has agreed to sign or signed elsewhere and is lying through his teeth.

Great move by the club to put a deadline on contracts. If the club has put in their best offer and Teddy "wasn't ready to make a decision" he isn't 'on the bus'.

Now he can continue to waste the season with the distraction of mulling over options for the sake of probably a few thousand dollars while the club and fans can move on and look toward the future.

"That's their call. I wasn't ready to make a decision so that's their call on that and there's not much I can do about it."

To me it just looks like he is trying to make it look like its the clubs fault, we all know he's had ample time to make a call

Guys don't get your hopes up….he's gone.

For him and Woods it just make them look like it was Wests Tigers forced it upon them cause they didn't have a decision yet and now the offer is gone.

Who is he trying to fool ? not even the courtesy thing in replying to a deadline is as low as you can go , had he wanted to stay he had ample of time to do so .
The Club did the right thing , we move on and so does Teddy

Someone said to me :
What about if the Club purposely put a deadline so it comes of the media Circus but behind closed doors the offer is there but the Club will actively pursue other players and if whoever player signs before Teddy or Woods so be it .

Emotionally i've prepared myself as there gone so i'm not bothered really.

The "Team" that Cleary will create will not need Prima donnas, the old WT s would have been gone after the Dogs scored first in the second half, they look better already with the same players

This is what I said. This guy has proven himself to be a low quality person. I'd like to be wrong but I'm pretty convinced he is the type of person who can lie through his teeth whilst stabbing you in the back.

Wood$ is just as bad.

Ask yourself how low is someone to keep the act up under these circumstances.

Was thinking the same thing, probably scripted by IM

Interestingly, Teddy seemed adamant that the decision not to respond to the Tigers before the Friday deadline was not the nail in the coffin of his chances of remaining with the club, saying that he wasn't ready to make a decision yet.

Well, look, I honestly hope that's the case, yes it would be preferable for Teddy to stay, but this just seems like he's been talked OUT of money.

Has his manager stuffed up thinking the Tigers were going to bend over backwards?

The whole situation is kinda bizarre. They are ruining their own brand (the players) with this and yet, "It was a tough situation and I've just listened to Isaac (Moses, his manager) and I'm happy with how he's handling it."…................I wouldn't be happy, not only ticked off current supporters, but there's a few supporters of the clubs you're going to who are none too pleased with how things have been handled and are worried this type of behaviour will eventually happen where you're going.

And if you "backflip" and sign with us........well, it probably won't be the kind of money you were going to get. I'd be looking for a new manager.

The contracts are of the table and if he has not agreed to the Roosters deal well the amount of money will certainly drop now ..that is not the clubs problem !

I don't think Ted is a low quality person. Probably a bit naive in this instance in following his manager. But a part from this contract decision, there has never been a suggestion that he is of low moral character.

If he decided to stay in a few weeks I have no doubt the club would accomodate based on our terms.

Can't see it happening though.

I can't at all see how anyone who would want to stay at the club or keep their options open at staying would be happy with his managers handling of said events let alone not communicate information to this accord by deadline.

My opinion is he's lying thru his teeth and that interview was scripted by his manager.

Exactly. I reckon this is who this guy is. Some people are just low quality people.

His reputation would be even worse if he stayed now. 2nd contract in a row this has happened. He has to take some responsibility for that.

It would only be the second backflip if he had actually agreed to another contract would it not. So far he has not admitted this and neither have other parties

Thats if he's signed with another team, we don't yet know if he has
