He hadn't signed with anyone, now he has.

It's like if I cock my fist in front of your face, I haven't punched anyone yet… and now I have.

Tedesco has not handled this well, good riddance to him.

I hope everyone on here can see the guy for what he is. He is not the sort of person that you want to have around your house at any time.

If someone unknowledgeable to the identities of Tedesco and Woods were to read your comments about them, I'm sure they'd think you're talking about serial killers and inhumane people. It's quite unhealthy to degrade people, especially when it's about decisions made in a game..

Thanks for your psychological analysis. I completely disagree.

Bill Shankly:- “Football's not a matter of life and death … it's more important than that,”

That is the way I see it. If you want to disagree be my guest.

As an off-topic point and this is not meant to be a reflection of you but I've tried to read books by Mr Watts and I find it all meaningless new age dribble and I read a lot of books. Maybe you are just a different person to me.

Love the passion Earl - i get it 100%

Don't wish him any harm as a person, but as a player i hope he never enjoys success that has been paid for by nick politis' money. I know it's a forlorn hope, but the Tigers will move on without him.

Nick has squandered many a dollar trying to win premierships for easts, most of the time the money was exchanged sans cap. :astonished:

So I am guessing other players at the roosters would of had to have their contracts restructured to give tedesco more of the cap and balance the brown paper bags elsewhere?

His hit rate is pretty pathetic given the unfettered spending over the years. If I was a roosters fan I'd be less than pleased about their recent years.

Then again all 16 of the roosters fans out there are probably on the payroll too.

So we are trading a selfish grub for one that puts in for the club.
Hope his ACLs hold up for the time he is there. A better version of Moltzen

As our captain would say "it is what it is"

And I always say… everything is what it is! Such a silly truism.

Nothing is what it isn't!

What about Schrödinger's cat?

Well Schrödinger's cat is still never what it is not, it is just possibly more than one thing at a given time?

It's not said as a truism it's said as a life philosophy - don't sweat things that are out of your control.

look, its like asking a girl to the end of the year social.she says no,she wants to go but not with you.
you are crushed but you want to go so you start to look for your other options and you ask someone else and they say yes.
so you go and have a good time and might even have a joke with you first choice.
its life.
and its friday night.

I don't care how it's said, it is a truism and a waste of breath.

Everything in this scenario is under Woods' control except the deadline the Tigers imposed. The revocation of the contract was under Woods' control, he chose to do nothing.

A tree is what it is. Dirt is what it is. Woods not signing with Tigers but signing with Bulldogs is a slap in the face to this club.
