His 2017 form is pretty average TBH. May have already seen him peak.

SG…Iam not sure if I am trying to find a positive in Teddy's departure, but I was a thinking the same thing a few weeks ago. Don't get me wrong, he will always be a handy no1,but a million dollar no1 I am not sure. His biggest weapon was always speed, now as that seems to have dropped a tad, to me he seems to have come back to the field.

It will be interesting to see if he really kicks on to be another Billy the Kid, or just ends up a solid no1

Does anyone else think he may have gotten a little gun shy?
I just picture him now going from sideline to sideline looking for holes.
Certainly doesn't run it back line Darius does

I was thinking… damn how does this happen!

But then I realised. The very side that took him went through something similar only a short while ago losing RTS who was considered the number 1 fb in the game by many to NZ. Now they land Teddy.

It happens and clubs recover.

Also Teddy reminds me a lot of Wade McKinnon in his early days. Better than Wade… highly probable. Similar signs though. Parrawade was extremely quick and dangerous but the injuries piled up and really curtailed him. So many injuries early in the career does start to wear you down. Benji is another example. As is Minichiello. Players who go through this tend to have shorter and earlier peaks.

Clutching at straws... almost certainly. But it is worth considering. Tedesco will have to stay relatively injury free from here on in to achieve the heights he is predicted to.

I guess with RTS he was returning to his roots when he left the Chooks, where Teddy is ripping the roots out of the ground and getting replanted in the Botanical gardens

Though a little different situations but Teddy has grown up a Rooster supporter as has his family,so in some sense Teddy is also returning to his roots

Exactly.
I was reading that he wanted to try out for roosters sg ball team years ago but didn't think he would make and trailed with tigers.
He always wanted to be a rooster.

Now I just want the Roosters to miss the 8 next year through a dodgy refs call which in turn allows us to sneak in.

I want the Roosters, Bulldogs and the Eels to miss out as well but I want WT to thunder in not sneak in.

Will be extremely interested to see how much he is protected by referee's when he is playing for the Rorters. Hoping they just sit back and let him get belted out of the game like they have done on plenty of occasions when he has a WT jersey on. Highly doubt it though, he will be a protected species in a Rorters jersey, Mumps Robinson will see to that.

Roosters have lost RTS,Jennings,Maloney to name a few over the last few years, but have proven that the show must go on..

We need to get over it and accept this is part of sport and move forward..

Roosters let Jennings and Maloney go. Not the same.

RTS is exactly the same as Tedesco and it cuts deep, Roosters were still cut about that until this morning.

Yeh fair point mate,agreed

RTS's first year at the Warriors didn't end up too good. Out for the season after 7 games.

Hi I think this is correct rough math but has Tedesco played 78 of a possible 129 games since round 1 2012 if so is he the most injury prone player in the NRL more then Dugan mite be dogging a bullet could some please check this thanks
