Jason Taylor: "Disappointed..."

He repeats the same old over and and over, like someone who is really poor at public speaking or a sore loser who doesnt have any words left

He is full of it, NFI when he cant explain why we couldnt compete and then said we stopped the landslide in 2nd half 12-6

Half the people here who give this guy credit are fooling themselves

Taylor says Rakin had an off game and later praised him for a try saving tackle late in the game
FFS you douche we still lost 40-10 and ended our own season..

For anyone who thinks he should get another season as our coach pls dont reply to my post..

With the crap you have been writing on here the last 24 hours - I am afraid I have to reply. Even though you asked me not to.

You are entitled to write all that stuff- I am entitled to reply to your post.

I would like to see Taylor get at least another season.

Taylor's dissapointed.

Everyone's disappointed.

What else would you expect a coach to say?

People calling for his sacking seem to want to continue the instability we've experienced for years now. I'm not a massive fan of JT, but he's been given 3 years so let's see them out and then change if need be.

He said a lot of stupid stuff (probably offensive to some) but thats water under the bridge. Our roster has been hamstrung, and until we have cash, not much will change no matter who the coach is.

Finally someone talking sense.

Disappointed about last night, but overall, I thought we had a pretty good year.

Competitive in most matches, flogged in one, and with a few things to go our way, the top eight was there for the taking.

As for the boys is reserve grade, Sironen is playing like a busted and no way should he be in first grade. Cherrington is in the same boat. As for Farah, now that the season is over, perhaps Taylor should let him play the last two games. This way the Farah fan club will be happy and the team goes into next year on a positive note. Farah to Souths also on a positive note. Win, win.

It must be nice to be so content with mediocrity. I thought it was a very disappointing year because it could have (should have) been so much better. We need a good coach. We don't have one now.

As for Sironen, he should absolutely be in first grade. He is eons better than Lovett who offers absolutely nothing in any capacity whatsover. And as for players "playing like a busted", how did Rankin go? You've been defending him for weeks and your silence is now deafening.

Finally, "flogged in one". I think 60-6 vs Raiders, 36-4 vs Bulldogs, 40-10 vs Panthers is three.

Wise up.

magpiecol has never let facts get in the way of his delusion so no surprise with his offering. Thanks for restoring some sense with your comment.

Jason Taylor looks like his about to break out and cry in this Press Conference.
Aaron Woods stairs at him like saying…..get it together.

Same old same old,we loose and the coach bashers are out in force to have a swing.

We have basically a pretty inexperienced team that probably hit the wall after the Cowboys game. At the start of the year I thought the grind would get to us mid season but we actually lasted till the last month. We are still way off being a good side but we have made good progress from last year and you would hope we will make similar improvements next year.

Our roster needs some new faces, but I guess the salary cap is going to prevent much happening, the good thing we have some real forward talent coming up through the grades that should be ready for the NRL in a couple of seasons.

Taylor deserved to see out his contract and at the end of next year he is either flicked or retained depending on our season. Changing coaches every year or two is madness

Refer to mediocrity post and you are happy to swim in it.

The only real reason JT got to coach the Tigers was that he was an ex Western Suburbs player and as Wests have the Majority holdings over the joint venture they had the power to appoint.
Their were far better credential candidates for the job…................
Bring on Ivan Cleary ( A coach not affiliated with either side )

I was waiting for this angle to show up.
Somehow you have decided to make it about Balmain and Maggies.
How about this angle?
Taylor is trying to derail us so his beloved Bears might return to the league.
Nah, that's just as moronic as your idea.

One of the only worthwhile posts in this thread. Everyone entitled to their opinion of course, but wow there's some shockers. Can't believe the amount of people who think bringing in a new coach would be of any benefit.. It makes no sense to do that.

Holding the coach accountable for his poor performance? Now why would you do that when we can blame the players and everyone else except Taylor!

Many on this forum believe we have a squad good enough to be playing finals football. Some of us believe the reason we didn't make the finals this year is due to ridiculous coaching selections week in and week out (Rankin, Lovett, Edwards, Milone etc) and the inability to get the team going when it mattered most (see Friday nights game). Some on here blame the top 25 cap limitations as to why those selections were made, but it was that same coach that made the top 25 at the beginning of the season.

I guess ultimately we believe there are better coaches out there (Toovey/Cleary etc) who will do a much better job. Doesn't that make sense to you?

Your second post on this forum is rather presumptuous and stupid to say the least. Not to mention you are also wrong in your presumption.

Season 2016 was a disaster.
Season 2017 an underachievment.

Dissapointed but used to it.

Unfortunately some people aren't disappointed, Stryker - in fact they seem to revel in it.
Even if Taylor took us to stone motherless last 2 years in a row they would want him here next year.
WAKE UP - nothing has improved on the field and we've had more tensions off field than ever before (something I thought would be impossible at the Tigers).
It is not disruptive to bring in someone who does a better job - only when you bring in someone to do a worse job.

Who ever coaches us will have the same squad of players at his disposal for 2017 bar maybe one or two budget buys. When you get touched up by 30 points it pretty hard to blame the coach. If they selected Farah, played another person at no1, they still would have got beaten.

The club needs stability and to build on the progress they have made this year

And people get accused of accepting mediocrity for defendig Taylor  :roll

This from the guy that supports Lovett week after week…

Also, I remember you complaining last week that people from the forum were being "pessimistic" for thinking that Penrith might beat us. How's that working out for you?
