Jason Taylor isn't signed for next year...

No for Toovey. The stories out of Manly were that he had no gameplan (you thought Taylorball was bad) and could not keep the playing group together. I get the feeling the MacGuiremay be available soon. He might be the type of coach that will suit this club. In saying that I think that Taylor's future will rely on results for the rest of this season.

i dont know which is worse
A coach who cant coach or the one who doesnt get along with players

I know Cleary is favoured here to replace JT but i'd prefer Toovey if he is a runner for the role

Yep, I'd like Toovey too. I like his passionate, no nonsense approach.

Taylor has backed the youth of the club and dropped a club legend. About as passionate and "no nonsense" as you can get.

Wests Tigers CEO Justin Pascoe does not want Farah they next year so Farah wont be there its not just Taylor its the same as Luke Lewis at Penrith Farah wont be there

And how is he going to do it - Farah has as thick a skin as a rhino and dare I say as much brains as well. He has already said he has a contract for next year and he is going nowhere even if it means playing reggies all year. Club legend my butt - his agenda is just as personal as anything Taylor has done. Robbies out for revenge.

I wonder if it could get any worse though with any coach than what we've had with Taylor when it comes to game plans. I mean let's be serious here.

As a Coach you have to earn respect and Jason Taylor has none.

Are you going to be respected when you have been kicked out of the S.C.G , been chinned by an NRL player , ring a Radio station trying to defend yourself etc…...

Any other NRL Coach out there that has achieved such feats ? :unamused: .

Was very Entertaining reading some people's posts yesterday  some seriously need to go fishing or something
instead of being so bum hurt at the support Farah got yesterday .

If it's true that there is an option in the club's favour in 2017, exercise it and sign Taylor for 2017 and this problem with Robbie goes away. It's all another power play by Farah to get what he wants….Another coach sacked. We made a mistake with potter and we can't make the same mistake again.

I'd enjoy his career ending with a year in reserves. Just what he deserves.

JT was back to the 'performances over results' mantra yesterday, which is an odd thing to say if the OP is correct.

Maguire?? They won with a red hot team. Look where the Rabbits are now? Taylor took the Rabbits from the bottom where they had been for umpteen years into the finals!! But of course he didn't have a Farah there trying to put a spoke in the wheel.
Cleary?? He can't take it when things go wrong. Not enough strength and determination for me.
Anyway, even Farah himself said at one stage to the DT that "Taylor was a great coach".

Performance brings the results in the end.

Long term, yes. But we're talking short term in that we've got 7 games to get ourselves into the 8\. It's about winning those 4-5 games to get us there and nothing else.

If we don't sign Taylor for 2017, which coach would want to come here an coach Farah after he has knifed and white anted the last 3 coaches?….seriously the sooner Farah goes the better....Remember Mick Potter, he was 100% right, he recommended the board NOT sign Farah for 4 years(only 2), but was over ruled by the then Great CEO Mayer.....

I always thought Potter was deserving of a 3rd year, but with more empowerment, after injuries and lack if support killed the 2014 season.

JT deserves a shot at a 3rd season as well. The main criticism of him is over team selections, particularly not dropping players. I wouldn't say all of his decisions have been good ones - whose are - but his hands are tied through things like the 2nd tier cap, lack of suitable replacement or how a talented replacement fits in with the game plan and combines or compliments the attributes that the rest of the 1st team has.

All things aside i have my 2cents worth on Taylors coaching

Ok Fair enough many say he doenst have full control over the team but what about in areas he does ?
Our defence is nearly the worst in comp

He hasnt been able to get halves to shine
He hasnt been able to get Moses to improve the kicking

If anything these are the 2 areas he should excel in but he has been average and thats at Best

From memory it was the board that signed Taylor, Mayer was left out of the negotiations.
It was Go and the board that signed him.
