Good job to hold on and get the win. Liles kicking game in the last 10 minutes made Parra work it out from their own end. Tavana came up with some tricky pickups off of grubbers/chips towards the end too. The right edge came alive in attack during the 2nd half. Looked dangerous every time it went out that way. Will Craig bombed a certain 4 pointer before getting another chance 5 minutes later and he didn't stuff that one.

Hopefully the first of 3 senior grade victories this weekend!

Courageous win in that heat!

We have a very good attacking spine in this grade with Tavana - Matai - Liles - Lanyon/Pritchard and strike on the edges. Was impressed also with right centre Max Taotua today. Liked our shape in attack today, Max Liles makes a hell of a difference.

Our middles are smaller workmanlike middles that can get dominated but did their job today & may have been more effective with the heat. We'll be much better when our strike middle Jekope Sovau returns from injury too.

Broederlow may have struggled with the step up to nsw cup last year, especially in defence, but he's too good for jersey flegg. He should get another chance in cup soon.
I just hope we don't fast track him through the grades too quickly due to the lack of quality in that position. I think a mixture of Flegg and some games off the bench in Cup would be good for him this year. Next year, with a full nrl pre season under his belt we should look at 2026 as a full year in Cup.
I definitely see something in Broederlow, but we can't go searching for a quick fix with him. He won't be ready and the club will be left with egg on their face again.

Yeah he’s very promising. Very good offensively & in contact but is found out laterally at least twice each game which yesterday led to 2 tries & same in NRL trial. Needs to develop in this area or could become a Kelma Tuilagi clone.

Our Flegg side got annihilated by the Storm. 44-18 with us scoring a few late tries. They should have won by more...

Once again: too small, too slow, too dumb/lazy, not skillful enough.
Our recruitment absolutely stinks.

Men against boys, as usual. .to be fair most of this squad should be replaced by our sg ball boys in a few weeks. Absolutely no talent in this squad. No one played well today. Special mention for Craige who should without doubt be E dropped to MacArthur grade footy, in presuming that's why we didn't see him last year. But the entire pack good absolutely obliterated by the power and skill of the storm boys. They're 8, qp and 13 all sensational, but everyone did their job.
Would be nice of fonua could bring his brother here next season

Wests Tigers down 20-4 at HT in Flegg. IMO we were the better side for 30 mins, scoring a nice try with a backline movement and good hands from Max Taotua putting Craig over. Leatigaga was very good in the middle for us until his interchange. Warriors first 2 tries came from mistakes from our wingers Craig & Piccirilli spilling contested high kicks handing them tries basically. Still clunky in attack and seem to lack an x-factor spine player who can open it up. Missing Tavana today.

20-20. Tigers prevented a chance to win the game with a minute left on the TV clock in attack 20 out with scrum feed. Ref got word from timekeeper that 80 was up.

Some great goal line defence today especially in 2nd half. About 5-6 times Warriors players were held up. Can’t fault any player.
