Up 28 to 6 at half time and have been running riot over Manly. I reckon we even left a few tries out there. Our whole left edge looks like scoring every time. Saukuru looks damaging, Mitch Taotua playing well outside of him too. Must have had about 10 tackle breaks himself.
Matai has been very good and Logan Deneinger out the book has looked threatening.
Josese Lanyon and Shaq both provided great impact off the bench with Lanyon picking up a double.

Haywood is all class though. Man we are lucky to have some good hookers at the club.

Boys should hit 50 plus if they keep up their intent in the 2nd half.

Our team selected today is a very big Jersey Flegg team and with weight of possession and Manly having a player in the sin bin, we have been too much for them to handle.
Even though we are dominant on the scoreboard, I’m still not seeing anyone really standing out enough to say they look like a genuine NRL prospect, albeit we have a couple of 19 year olds who have more scope for improvement.
I think Max Taotua might have something, he seems to run the ball harder than his brother even though his brother has had more standout moments so far today.

Man that former coaching staff that were shafted must have been bad, good to here about the vast improvement.

Monsters such as Solo Saukuru and the Taotua twins sometimes take a bit longer to really understand how big, fast and powerful they are.
Their attack is already good, it’s their defence when under pressure which is the concern and the area they really need tj focus on.
I would be trying to keep all 3 to see of some good coaching and focus can turn one or more of them into a versatile centre/edge back row beast that could be very useful at NRL level.

58-10 (Manly scored an intercept try on the bell as we were on the attack). Tigers too big, too fast, too skilful.

Mitch Taotua until he went off with a HIA was very impressive, Saukuru great think he has found his future in the 2nd row, Tavana on the other wing has some brilliant skills, Halves were good, Haywood just classy, Lanyon just always supporting for a hattrick and the big forwards just never stopped making meters in the middle with Denninger dangerous out the back and Will Craig has something about him but too small to make it in the nrl I think and could be the problem for Denninger too but he is only 18 so will see.

Agree with everyone's comments. Not much more to add than what has already been said.

It was our best & maybe first 80 minute performance of the season in this grade, maybe any grade.

Firstly, Manly were very poor and in the 2nd half particularly were falling off tackles left, right & centre.

Regardless great to see us put a team to the sword. All of forwards were good and our fortunes have changed this season since we've had some big boppers Mataale & Shaq Tavita in this side. Tavita had his best game for us so far as did Josese Lanyon when he came on at lock

Our edges were great, all backrowers and centres even Byron Laupepa when he came on for Mitch Taotua's HIA.

Both wingers were excellent. I've been a critic of Will Craig most of the season but he had his best game arguably he's ever had in pathways.

And my man Tino Tavana produced 3 or 4 absolutely class moments - one where he beat about 4 players to set up a try and then produced a magical pass off the ground in another moment in the 2nd half. He has x-factor & can produce something magical at times.

My MOM was Iverson Matai. I lost count how many tries he set up. He's got great sleight of hand and the ability to bust the line himself. His weakness which was not on show today is his defence. He could really put himself in the frame for a T&T contract next season if he could fix this. We'll find out when we play some of the better teams.

But how enjoyable was that!

Yes definitely Iverson’s best game for us, he looked dangerous with every touch,
