Gee this side is stacked in the outside backs department. A current backline of Jack Attard, Will Craig, Xavier Tauaifaiga, Max Taotua and Logan Brookes.
Glassie Glassie and Filipe Huahulu on the extended bench.
Jack Nicholas and Joseph Partch playing Sydney Shield.
Riley Oitmann playing Macarthur comp.
The thing is not one of those players is more than 6 feet tall. They're all undersized players and while occasionally you find one who can step up against bigger players, most won't kick on outside of fullback.

Where's our upcoming McLean, Bostock, Cobbo, Coates etc

Wouldn’t Hiahulu be at least 6 foot tall ?
Ryder Huth has a good tall, strong and athletic physique about him, but every time he comes in and has a good game he gets dropped for the next week for some reason ?
I agree Glassie Glassie continues tj shine and is looking like our best outside back prospect at the moment.
He might not be overly tall, but he has that strong Katoni Staggs build and aggression.

You are 100% right @balmain boy . We can match the mid-table teams with the traits they have but will never be an elite team without them.

Huahulu is one of few. Glassie has reasonable speed but has power, strength & skill.

We don't have any aerial specialists in any grades from memory except Tavana who lacks speed & strength. Huahulu has shown glimpses.

Oitmann has speed, acceleration & x-factor but is tiny.

At least our potential signing of Averillo is addressing our lack of speed in the club. The club needs to give Makasini some dedicated gymnastic & catching training to become an aerial threat if he is going to fulfil his potential in the NRL as a winger or centre.

Yeah I'm just a bit gutted at the entire afternoon to post too much. Our Flegg team's last 60 mins was our shining light. Unfortunately our replacement hooker for Haywood in his debut was very poor.

Once Jericho-Talisau (my MOM) went in dummyhalf & Sikahele (also one of our best) and Van Drie came on in the middle, we were the better side. Panthers scored one late against the run of play and that was it, we ran out of time for an equaliser.

Haywood, Taupau-Moors & Duncombe coming out cost us the win.

Glassie once again showed he is a class above and the most likely out of yesterday's team to have the qualities for NRL in future.

Attard was classy but playing against his old team got into his head a bit. His lack of size is a concern.
Thanks for the update BWG. I guess i'd rather hear 3 outs hurt us as opposed to having the strongest side we could out there and just getting blown away.

Pheonix Godinet - Great potential for the future.
Problem is his manager is Mr Moses and his contract is up at the end of 2027.
We train them while they grow and toughen up and Moses takes them to the open market.
From memory the WT took him on from Parra or Penrith, [stand to be corrected] so his heart is not Black 'n Gold.
I wouldn't get too excited unless he extends very soon.
Unless we think he is overrated for his asking price; but we will never know, will we?
