Haywood says that Head Coach Shane Sultana has been the strength behind the playing squad.

“If you're down on confidence, he’ll bring that confidence out of you. It’s really important, especially for some boys that might be coming off some bad form - he’ll always let you know he believes in you,”
Haywood explained.

“He’s really good at connecting the boys together, whether he's pulling a joke or doing an activity where the boys are gathered around. He's such a good coach.”
This is what good team harmony should be about

Tiger Stripes it must be the defensive structure for the whole club 🤷‍♂️
Wingers rush in to try and stop the play at the centre.
I’m not a fan but it can’t be every winger we have just rushing in on their own decision.
How many times do you watch the replay and say if they stayed out on their winger they wouldn’t have scored that Try.
100% the defensive structure
Drives me insane in Cup

Hope Shane can stay on with the club

Yeah I know. The structure's success is dependent on the inside men covering the winger if he gets the ball.

Since this structure is being coached down through the grades, I can't see us changing it for next season. It may need someone new coming in to teach the coaches some of the intracacies of getting this right and ultimately coached down into the players (and practiced, practiced, practiced).

IMO it's like they mustn't talk to each other----call out who they have to mark-----nail their opp. number the first priority and job. Call for help if there's danger looming.
Stay outside your opp. number so you can see what they are up to.
How common is it now to see a lob pass go to an unmarked winger?

And the inside players need to slide. They need to talk--be managed-reminded of their job continually.
Coaching, fitness, lazy, or just don't get it? -- frustrating to watch.

Thanks BWG. Bit harsh for him to be called rubbish and he didn't even play. Think that comment was from Tiger stripes.
Yeah it was me. That's was the team sheet I had. Plati was No 15. Sorry I got the wrong player.
In that case Futialo was the big, slow and MIA player.
Shame he had big raps coming from StGeorge. I think he was captain of their H.Mats.
