I’m ok with the club not re-signing Madden and Laurie.
Madden is probably 3 seasons away from being nrl ready. And Laurie is playing like he doesn’t want a contract. Momirovski didn’t want to go, and would have been a better choice.

Momirovski asked for a release

Momirovski confirmed he asked the Tigers for a release on more than one occasion over the summer when it became clear he was unlikely to start. Joey Leilua and James Roberts are expected to be the club’s starting centres, and there are high hopes for Tommy Talau. Even Moses Mbye is an option.

“Having conversations with the club and coaching staff and seeing where the club was at, I decided the best thing for me was to try and take up an opportunity elsewhere,” Momirovski said.

Madden is really stamping his claim.

Seems confident in his abilities and knows his worth.

I could see him getting a good deal and a starting role at a couple of clubs.

Tigers need to make the right move here, it'll be another that'll bite us in the future.

This kid isn't Brock lamb, Jack Cogger. Looks a much more well rounded player than the both of them. Oozes class.
He could really develop into a safe #7 for us.

With a guaranteed 1.1m contract Brooks isn't going anywhere he can play out the 2023 put himself on the open market or go to super league get use to it.

There's no way he's taking a pay cut.

And despite how poor his performances is/are/may be.... according to us fans, the media or the general public... he shouldn't have to.

This is the clubs fault, entirely.
The board and whoever signs off on the cheques.

We've been trying to alleviate from these type of contract messes for years yet this was allowed.

Somebodies at fault and it isn't Luke.

We can only hope a club will take him for at least 50%, ideally more and we can come out disadvtanged for just the final year but not at full freight.

Couldn’t organise a try last week. Everyone who carries on about organising is kidding themselves. The game plan is set before kick off and everyone in the team should know their role. The halfback just calls the shots and then everyone else needs to execute.
