He's not a second rower. Needs to be in the middle. Not sure 60 minutes is his bag though.

It was a huge mistake putting him in the second row, made worse by the fact we knew he was not a second rower.

Fitting in nicely and only improving.

Broncos are a dynasty club and he's been a part of them his whole career.

He's going to be great for us.
I'm a fan.

What are our thoughts on this big guy? I feel like he’s flown under the radar a lot so far. Hasn’t gotten much praise, hasn’t copped a serve, has just gone about his business. Does he get a pass?

Yeah mate I like him. Rated him at the broncs and glad we picked him up.

Remember in the under 20's? He was running 200-300m a game. If he had the mentality to play he'd be one of the best forwards in the game. Big, fast, agile.

Still think he's not near his potential.

remember Kane Evans

Kane Evans never ran over 150m let alone anything else. Useless as

Been doing well at lock - hopefully does a little more passing like Seyfarth was doing but makes good metres every week and has been making his tackles. Can't fault him at all really

Only 25yo.

Plenty of talent and starting to find his game.

I noticed he talks a bit on the field which is a good trait with so many younger players .

Good attitude IMO

I just wish people had the understanding that some of our players have come from vastly different systems...
Joe O from Broncs,Tamou from Panthers,JTJ broncs and souths,Laurie from Panthers...they all have to adjust to Madges style and our system, its not an overnight thing, but it will happen and you watch how good this team will be....
Blair came to us with a huge wrap from the Storm system and ended up a huge flop...

The quicker Blore or one of these reserve graders gives us a genuine competition in the second row the better. Current guys are too comfortable and only show up if they’re in the mood.

For me he has been the one forward who every week has given his all. He is showing urgency all over the park even chasing run away players. If all our players put in the effort he does we would be in a different position on the ladder. Very happy he is with us.

I can't remember the player involved in the Knights match .....but you watch the team is grouped up about 30 metres away and Jo O comes from the group to give the player a hand up and pat on the head

I admit I was worried about his antics at Brisbane ...but he probably is our best signing

Was that Seyfarth?

People forget that we lost Dwyer and Ellis around the same time .....Blair just wasn't the player many expected we'd be getting

As I mentioned in the other thread ...another bloke who was hyped to the eyeballs but was never the player even at Melbourne that Forum members expected ..he was never going to run for 200+ metres and make 8 line breaks ..that would have been Dwyer's role ...Ellis would be running great lines at holding your edge together .....Blair was going to be the 13 that did what he did at Melbourne and was extremely effective .....

He’s been getting better every game, playing with more confidence and starting to show some leadership.
I wrote him off early, which is ridiculous.

Surely he scored a 70 metre try against us at some stage and cracked 151 metres ....lol

That is what I like about Joffa, he is a leader. When he signed with the club his 1st request was for the players phone numbers so he could ring them and introduce himself. Might sound like a small thing but that impressed me, as long as we keep in out of the 2nd row I think he will be very good for us.

I think he has been a good fit. We picked him up at the right time when he needed a change of scenery and he’s found his best position at 13 in this team. His game will keep improving imo.
